The Military Salute tickets are non-expiring, so you can use the remaining 2 days in May.
Thank you I thought so. Just wanted to make sure.

If you add dining to a military discounted room, and also use the discounted 4 day tickets, does Disney still consider it a package? I think they do but just clarifying. What I really need to know is how long before the trip do you have to decide if you want to add dining?
Disney has added (on June 8, 2011) to the internal rules: "Guests may participate in this offer as often as they wish as long as no more than six (6) tickets are sold in each transaction." But it still limits activation by a spouse to five tickets; to activate six tickets the service member must be present.
But this from the sticky is confusing me:
They plan to arrive on Friday but not go to the parks until Saturday. Could they activate some tickets on Friday and then the rest the next day?
LOves Dumbo:
they can buy a total of 12 over the 2 year ( so far) lifespan of the promotion, but only 6 per day if the FiL has not yet used any of his entitlements they will be able to buy all 9. However they may only be able to buy 6 one day and the other three the next day( that being said there is a possibility that only 6 in a week may be purchased there has been confusion on that score)
the "as often as you want' was rescinded almost immediately.. it is 6 per year of the promo and they are allowing you to rollover your entitlement so if you did not use all six the first year you can add them to your 6 from this year.
as for the DDP: when you purchase the plan you get X number of credits. you could, theoretically, use all your credits in one day if you were a glutton and ate at Signatures for all meals. A lot of times you will see people saying they have a butt ton of snack credits left over on their last day in the parks so they stock up in prepackaged stuff at the candy shop to take home with them.
as long as you keep track of the type of credits( Counter service, table service and Snack) you have and how you use them, you will be fine.
The TA was saying they could purchase 4 days worth of DDP credits if they wanted for their 3 night stay. I've never heard of that being allowed. I've always understood it to be based on the nights of your stay. So if they go for 3 nights and get regular DDP they will have 3 TS, 3 CS and 3 snacks. If they go to CRT and use 2 TS there they only have 1 other TS to use for thier trip. They want to have TS dinners all 3 nights.
DDP is based on nights in the Resort. And the credits are valid from the time of check-in through midnight on the day of check out.
If they want to do CRT plus three TS dinners, they may want to look at the availability of the Deluxe Dining Plan.
But it sounds as if the TA does not know what the rules are.
I agree about the TA. So now my friend is an tough spot. She knows I'm right but her MIL doesn't know me and is inclined to believe the TA-the TA should be the expert.
I was going to suggest that they either do Deluxe DDP or none at all. I prefer to pay OOP then I can get exactly what I want but I can see the advantage to them of having it all prepaid-but it really won't be all prepaid unless they do DxDDP.
How about the 6 ticket limit? Can they do 6 one day and 3 the next?
they can always hit Shades of Green to get the regular Military discount tickets.. no tax either. and if they do it right, then they will only have to buy Kids tickets.
