Off to take care of DH.. he was to go out of town and got a massive headache that has not stopped..he was not willing to travel with it.... so now he is driving me crazy!! But gotta love him for being smart enough not to travel!!!

What in the world is going around? My head is still hurting. My DH's head is hurting. I even checked the Carbon Monoxide detector just to be safe. Hope your DH's head gets better soon.

I'm not sure what it is... AWM, my head hurt yesterday and I contributed it to ordering photos and checking and re-checking I had most of them for the ABC book... I fill what I can.. and then re-order.. it got to be very overwhelming doing 4 books at once.... and I still need to make a photo book for DH's grandparents in FLA....
DH said his head is still throbbing...but not as intense as it was... we checked our carbon monoxide level too.. even DS8 complained throughout the evening his head hurt... we tylenoled him and he was out in no time...

I don't know if I've been doing this long enough to hotess but I'd love to do the DL/DCA and if any other AZ dis'er would like to do it with me that would be cool too Just a thought cause I'm a HUGE DL fan!!!!

it isn't updated on the original post but Hopemax has said she will host the DCA/Disneyland swap- in the late spring/early summer time.

As I said in this thread and the 2009 idea thread, I plan on doing the DL/DCA swap after my technique swaps.

When we first started talking signups, I had originally forgotten I had said I would do DL/DCA. But it wasn't an indicator that I wasn't interested, or wanted someone else to do it. I am not planning on co-hosting. I hope everyone is okay with that.

I'd really like to do another circle journal - I thought of a great theme standing on a frosty platform this morning!

Would anyone be interested? I don't mind hosting as its a "keep track" and won't involve you lot in expensive postage.

I would say that by the time you hit 15 you need to divide into different groups.

Yes it is the ALL About Me Swap!! It will probably be one that starts in June and ends in August because you may have tons of pages- like the roladex address cards there will be one for every participant- they do not have to be exactly alike though- use some stash.

I saw on the OP that someone suggested a General Vacation swap. Has there been any takers yet? I was thinking about hostessing such a swap. Has such a swap ever occured here on the Boards? I didn't see one, but I was thinking that there could be groups for things people do on non-Disney vacations (although they might do some of them while at WDW) - like going to the beach or pool, going to a museum, going to a zoo, visiting the state's capitol, etc. And there can be groups for transportation, road trips, hiking, etc. I guess I should wait to see if this is a possibility before thinking about it more!

Also, I was thinking about hostessing a Cricut swap. I've seen these on the Cricut boards, but their groups are usually way too big for me to consider participating in. But what I have seen is they choose a particular cartridge, for example Mickey and Friends, and one person makes Mickey1, another makes Mickey2, and another makes Mickey3, etc. Each person makes enough for the group so that when you receive your stash back, you will have essentially every main piece from the cart, without having to make them all yourself. I've never made every main piece from any of the carts I own, but I would love to have them! Is this something that would be good for this board? I also thought there would be a few potpourri groups where you can join a group that you don't have the cart, but can get items from it by making something you own that others don't.

I would love to hostess something during the summer when my course load is very light and I can easily manage it.

How many would be have to make? If you kept the groups to 6 or less, I could handle that, but any more than that and I think my eyes would permanently cross.

I would definitely want only 6 to a group, maybe even four or five depending on the cart. The smaller the groups, the better - which is why I have never done a Cricut board swap, their groups are sometimes 15 large, with all the accessories to make too!!!

I saw the Super Sports swap offered this year, but didn't even look at it because of the "sports". I guess I will have to check this one out next year now!
