I GOT ACCEPTED FOR QSFB FOR SPRING ADV. 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got the letter about ten minutes ago. And my interview was two weeks ago!!!!!!! They work fast!! Not my first or even second choice, but I'm extremely happy!!! Here's to hoping I get put at Epcot.

i can't find anything. i have 10 weeks. when do they usally come out?

if memory serves, about a month before your departure date you will start seeing flyers around the housing complexes with information on how to extend.

Here's a patient character performer hopeful waiting to find out the outcome of her audition.........what do you think the chances are of being put in Spring when I applied for Advantage? I'm just wondering cause I see that happening a lot, BUT no one's been accepted for performer yet AND I've already auditioned, now I'm just waiting to hear....I sooo hope I get advantage!

It depends on certain factors. How many people of each range for each program and so on. For example- my friend wanted FA 08. But Advantage was full for her height range. So she was put in Fall.

That makes sense, I'm just thinking that it shouldn't be the case this time because I auditioned on the first date. Does it depend on how many CPs have been chosen or how many performers they have (i.e. including FT, seasonal, etc)?

hi everyone!! I'm new to the boards but I found this thread and just wanted to say that I got accepted into the spring advantage program to be a character performer! It took only 12 days for them to respond but I was also in a group of only about 40.... good luck to everyone!!!

I got a little nervous cause I think I remember other people getting a purple envelope and mine was white, but when I opened the folder (it being a folder was the first hint that it was good news) I saw "Congratulations...." and went nuts.

And the envelope is actually white, but the packet inside is purple.

that's kinda what I figured after posting that

I decided to shave my goatee (part of my trademark look around here) so that when people notice I can tell them I got accepted to the CP
This is the first time I have been clean shaven since fall of 2005, shortly after I got to college, so it's the first time I've gotten a good look at the scar on my chin from when a car turned in front of my bike and I bit it into the street... It's pretty thin and is smoother now so I'm not so worried about nicking it shaving. But I sure as heck need a new electric shaver that works better.

I'm driving from near Seattle... that's right, Seattle to my dad's place in San Jose (through some mountains eek) then taking turns driving, probably stopping for the night in Tucson and Houston, and maybe in Pensacola depending on how burnt out we are. gonna give myself a few days to get to my dads then we're gonna aim to show up in Orlando a couple days early and use any spare time there to play at Disney World or go see Cape Canaveral or maybe even check out some of the other area theme parks (shh)

wow and i thought my drive was long. good luck from seattle. my boyfriend and I are going to trade of driving too. he's going to take all the city way and I get the long boring roads. haha. oh and I was measured at 5 feet and 2 3/4 inches... im kind of in the middle of two height ranges, fine by me.
