2009 Reservations

When will you be able to make reservations on the Disney website for travel in2009? We will be traveling with a large group (7 adults and 4 children). I would like to get the rooms booked as soon as possible. Thanks!

I use Dreams Unlimited travel, and my travel agent told me that rates for 2009come out closer to summer. We are trying to get planning on a 2009 Christmas trip to Wilderness Lodge, and now are just on hold waiting......

We are planning on going in late Jan., early Feb of 09. We want to stay in a moderate, are there typically any good discounts for that time of year?
We need 3 rooms, and there are 10 in our party.

I was eagerly waiting last year to book for Thanksgiving this year with my Grand Gathering of 11! I had to wait until the packages and rates for 2008 were released. This was around the middle of August! I called the day they released the packages and there were no king rooms available for POR. I was so confused! I just kept calling back and checking. Finally, I got exactly what I wanted in December of last year! Good Luck on getting what you want!

You can actually make a "room only" reservation 500 days before your arrival date. I have already booked our room for January and will change it to a package when the 2009 rates are released this summer! So, if you are planning a trip for next year before September, you can actually make your reservation right now! You will be charged one nights stay at peak 2008 rates but that will be changed to the proper 2009 rates when they are released!
