Can you imagine the birthday, anniversary, family reunion, first trip etc etc. buttons Disney will be handing out . There goes the whole celebration because EVERYONE will come up with something to celebrate on the chance to get a prize. Disney will run out of buttons.

We went twice during YOMD and I have to agree with the majority of posters. We never received a "dream" nor did I ever see the dream team. We went in February of 2007 and May of this year. So so much for the "dreams"............lol. The only team I saw was the "green team" you know the ones with their hands out............

Dream squad members don't really stand out. I only know what they wear because my bf and I got a VIP meet n greet with Cinderella on the first day of our trip. After that I saw them all over the place. I saw them all over on my trip in June, but as I said they are hard to pick out.

I'd be surprised if this announcement came at that time and not at the big press event in early October which would coincide with the start of a new 'business' year for Disney.

I tend to agree with that.

I believe they are starting a new theme. Two shows that appear in the Magic Kingdom that were started with the Year of a Million Dreams are closing on Sept. 27, with the end of Disney's fiscal year.

Funny you say that... and how true it is... I spent about 25 days in the parks during YOMD and won 1 thing... and it was the worst thing for me to win... the pin set, which got me into collecting those stupid pins which are more addictive than crack and more expensive too... Curse you YOMD... and all I WANTED was the Cinderella Suite night... sigh.

Heh, one of my DHs pins is Jessica Rabbit. My DD4 is quite offended by that "You're a boy! You can't have a girl pin!" She's a bit too young for us to explain to her that Daddy likes Jessica Rabbit for a totally different reason.
