I just picked the ones that most people on here would be able to recognize. For full list of nominees: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/51st_Grammy_Awards_nominees_and_winners

The only one that matters for me is Best Hard Rock Performance. The Mars Volta FTW!

I really only care about Adele or Hot Chip.
I haven't heard about half the other songs because I don't like who they're by.

I think Coldplay will sweep the big awards this year. That song was massive and wonderfully written.

I think that Alison Krauss (with Robert Plant) will sweep most everything that they're nominated for, with Coldplay coming at a second place. It was a great year for Coldplay. Viva La Vida is just nothing short of amazing.

WHOOOAAAHHH!
I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE THAT WAS UP THERE!
Okay, I care about that the most.
Because Robert Plant and Alison Krauss=sex music.
That album sounded so amazing, and not just because it was Robert Plant, when I first heard one of the songs I didn't know it was him.

There was a lot more categories than this...

Overall I'm severely disappointed. They didn't take my letter about how Anti-folk should be a category into consideration -_-

I want Coldplay to sweep everything.
They have such a fresh perspective.

And Daft Punk better win best dance recording.
Because they were like the anthem of '08.
And because they're amazing.
