2009 DLR tickets

Hi! We are going to DL on January... I want to buy the park tickets now, but 2008 tickets have to be used by January 5th and we are arriving January 6 or 7th

If I get the 2008 tickets, can I later easily exchange them for '09 tickets paying the price difference?

No, you can't exchange them. Just wait until right before you're going on your trip and purchase the tickets online. Even if you purchase them the day before, you can print them off the computer or pick them up at will call at the park and you still will get the discount price of purchasing them in advance.

I don't know why you would want to buy them now if they're not good for your travel dates. It's also not possible to exchange. Just buy them when the new tickets are available.

They haven't announced their 2009 pricing yet, and since their fiscal year ends September 30, I wouldn't expect to hear about it too much before then.

If you want to spread out the purchase of your vacation by buying tickets now, why don't you go with Disney gift cards. You can then exchange them for the tickets when they are available.

I'm with you on that, Gena. The CM told me to call back about mid August for rates for next year and to make reservations. We'll be there 2/1-2/4. I'm such a planner and I like to buy things as I have the money so that I'm less likely to spend it on something else. Only a few more weeks to go.
