2009 Discussion-We'll make time fly by!

Our plans and dates have changed.
DS has had enough of WDW
He'd rather we have enough money to furnish his dorm room than pay for him to go on a trip he won't enjoy...
So...We're thinking we'll be going with the 3 youngest girls in September of 2009. We're also thinking that since they'll "only" be five of us we'll go to the BCV, since we can now fit in a room we can afford.
So that's the new plan - BCV Sept 2009!

Well, I hate to lose a teammate, but it sounds like that just may work out nicely for everyone!
I'll cry the day DS tells me he doesn't want to go to the World.

We are going for 10 days.
We are looking at the middle of September.
plan to book as soon as the rates come out.
Going to try Dreams Unlimited for the first time.

Thanks, yes- and I'm happy we have direct deposit. The faster the better. I'll be a little bit happier when I have my deposit in.

We had direct deposit too and should have had ours. Then I read the IRS website and it said if you have prep fees deducted from your refund you will get a check. We use Turbo Tax and have the filing fees and fee for direct deposit deducted form our refund. So, looks like I have to wait for a paper check!

I"M in! We are going Jan 19 - 29th! We will be staying at POFQ! I have made our room only and booked our flights on Airtran, direct from MSP! This will be my 4th trip (though I haven't been since 1994) and the first for the rest of my family! I am so excited to share my magic place with my children and hubby! Waiting on January park times and my 180 days for ADRs!

Wow I can't believe how many peeps keep jumping on the 2009 bandwagon! Makes me feel a bit better (even if lots of you are going in the earlier part of the year)

We adjusted our trip (dates will be the same) so that we will use Airmiles to fly outta Toronto instead of driving to Buffalo. Yes the flights are cheaper and the check-in lines are shorter BUT I can convince my mom to give us "air transport" from our door to the airport for our B-days & Anniversary all at the same time (mine is the 23rd his is the 25th and our anni is the 10th of November) We are looking forward to starting the trip a bit more refreshed without having to worry about crossing the border in the car!

Hi everyone we are going in feb starting the 23 but parks days start the 24 I can't wait. This will be my husband's welcome home from Kuwait trip. He is gone for 12 months. I am in charge of all the planning and he is in charge of most of the TS meals steak steak steak but what hubby wants hubby will get he deserves it. MAN DO I MISS THAT MAN!!! What is keeping me busy is work and the disboards. I can't wait to drive under the Walt Disney World sign sitting by my husband and listening to the kids laugh with delight and happiness I just hope it comes soon I want my hubby home.

What a great way to celebrate his return home!!! That really will be an especially magical trip. Our trip to WDW is planned for mardi gras week as well!

I have the dates ready to book for the Windsor Hills town-home, July 25-Aug1. Now just waiting on that rebate check......

for the 2nd week I'm not sure yet if we'll go the week before or the week after WH. I'd really rather be on-site first- and do Disney first, but Aug 3rd is when it switches to value season, so the 2nd week may be AFTER Windsor Hills

Hi everyone! I am getting really itchy. At the grocery store today, our school district was selling rubber ducks for a duck race. Top prize is a trip to Disney--5 days, 6 nights, airfare, AS resort, park hoppers--I want that trip soooooooo bad!

I also overheard dh mentioning to his dad today that we're going to Disney when we come down to see him next summer. I love to hear him talk about it. I know that he is secretly excited about going ! It just makes it more real for me when I hear him talk about it.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

So far I know we are staying at Beach Club. We have stayed here before but its always been pretrip for a Disney Cruise. This time we are just going to do the parks. Its going to be the girls which are me, my mom, aunt and goddaughter (7). She has never been and will be off track from her school at that time. Just waiting for rates and booking to open for packages but it looks like that wont be until early summer. We are booking through AAA this time as we have on one of our other DCL trips. Its so long away but I think half the fun is just the planning and anticipation of it

Yeah I am under 10 months, just seeing the months as a single number is so exciting, I still remember when I was at 22 months.
Though plans have changed, I am going to cut two days off of our trip, my sons want to spend a night at a hotel on a beach in Saint Petersburg
Now we will be at Disney March 5th through the 16th and then the 16th through the 21st in Saint Petersburg visiting relatives with one night in a hotel on the beach.
I am just wondering is it to early to think about what to pack

That's funny , our local radio station is giving a way a trip to Disney, promoting the new Toy Story ride! I have registered myself and DH, oh how I want to win . It's only 4 days/3 nights, I think, with aifare, resort and tickets, but I'll take it. Good luck
