2008 Mardi Gras Concerts

I see that they have announced the dates for the 2008 Mardi Gras. Does anyone have any inside info on the concerts? When do they normally announce who is going to perform?

I feel like it starts earlier this year than usual... (just me?) but I'm guessing by December the performers start to be announced.

Mardi Gras will start though without all the performers being announced. Some are added last minute.

The only performer I've heard confirmed is Gretchen Wilson.
