2008 Disney World DVC Race Applications

Hi all,

I just received the DVC/Cast member Race Application for the 2008 WDW Races and added it to my website http://www.DisneyRunning.com .

We get to save $10 again if you are doing the Goofy. I will be mailing mine in today. #3 here I come

Thanks Robert, I was looking for this. I want to mail my app in while motivated. Then when the motivation wears off, I'll be committed, and too late to rethink it.

Just a point- the discount is even greater than it looks as you also avoid paying the active.com fees which on $225 is probably close to $10. Thanks for posting the link.

If you click on the link in Robert's post above, his website has a link to the application in pdf format. You can save the file, print it or whatever. Or, if you'd prefer, PM me with your e-mail address, and I'll send you the file.

Other than the application and your check or VISA number, remember to send a copy of your DVC Member card (and a proof of time if you're interested in moving up waves ).

There's a spot on the form to enter your champion chip number--toward the bottom right under the payment info! Hope that helps!

My wife and I just mailed it today while we are still at WDW now! Pretty bad can't even get home from one years race before signing up for the next. A first for me.

You can buy the Chamion Chips directly from http://interchange.doitsports.com/c...t=db/co=yes/sf=category/se=ChampionChips.html Champion Chip. You will probably need to wait awhile for them to get next year's design ready.

What are Champion Chips? The application has a space to put a Champion Chip number.

Yes, I think you need to fill out one form for each person entering a race. You could mail them in the same envelope (if you have enough postage.)

You can leave the Championchip space black. Some people own their own championship. If you did own your own, this is where you would enter its number. If you leave it blank, they will "lend" one to you to use during the race. Most people do this. (It is one less thing to remember to bring.) When the race is over, they remove the chip from your shoe, and then give you your medal.

Denny, it's on the disney sports site when you start to fill out the registration for the Goofy '08.
