Does anyone know when the 2008 plan officially goes into effect? Is it Jan 1, 2008? If you are staying in December can you opt for the Deluxe plan or is your only choice the 2007 plan? If you were staying from the end of December to beginning of Jan, can you choose either or? Anyone have any details?

You'll have to check with Disney Dining for the "official" response, but I've seen a number of posts from people in that situation and they've all been told the 2007 plan would carry through for the duration of their stay. If it's a big issue for you, though, I'd call Disney Dining and be sure.
