What a bummer....hope that Disney will let you trade a dessert for an appetizer. I'm diabetic and generally can't eat the desserts anyway, now I'm stuck with it...? :sad2:

I also think it's a little ironic that they've cut our children's choices to force healthier eating yet adults can eat all the sugar they want....:upsidedow
I suppose Disney doesn't think that eating by good example might be helpful either.

Personally, I wish it were optional: appetizer or dessert.

Cap'n Jacks is the ONLY Downtown Disney restaurant on the plan now, too. We definitely won't do the plan as we love to eat at many of the DTD restaurants.

Quite a few Epcot restuarants seem to be gone. I don't see Mexico, China, Japan, France or Morocco there anymore???

This is such a step backward! We have gotten use to paying the extra to get the meal plan and this plan is not appealing at all!

What a pity!

This just can not be correct. There is not one place at Coronado Springs listed?
The new restaurants at Animal Kingdom are not listed.

And Concourse Steak House is still on there when it has been announced that it is closing and the new place is going to be called The Wave. It is not listed either!
:sad1:

This happens every year - until contracts are finalized with eateries they won't be on the official list. Give it some more time and most, if not all of the missing eateries that were on the plan this year will show up.

The Wave isn't there b/c it doesn't exist yet - not until April and Concourse is open until then.

There is a post on these forums with links for all the 08 plans.

Post is called Official links to 08 dining plans - or something to that affect.

I can't find the thread you are referring to....why don't you just post the link here for us, please?

Yes, this happened last year as well: Many restaurants won't be listed until later in the year. That doesn't mean they're not going to participate yet -- it just means that the contracts haven't been signed yet.

If it's anything like what happened last year, CSR didn't get added to the DDP until late in the year...Oct/Nov time frame.
