I'm reorganising the buffet that holds my scrap stuff. For those who don't know, its an antique dining room piece - cupboard at the bottom and two big deep shelves above, deeper even than 12x12 albums. So the music centre has gone on top (with scrap mags and so forth ) and all my albums will go on the middle shelf nice and far away from any radiators the bottom shelf (top of the cupboard IYSWIM) holds my Xyron PCS and books and all sorts of other rubbish like ziplock bags and my CM organising pockes and bits I've taken out of my bags to use but haven't put away :blush; I'm going to tidy that then address my piles of embellies and swaps my one file is too full so I might reuse some priority boxes for some paper and stuff- not sure yet. DH has a down on buying stuff to put other stuff in, but he doesn't like mess and clutter I need to work around that somehow

dh, ds and bil went to a big train show at the big E in west springfield and will be gone all day........ do you know what the means.......??????

what's a girl to do????? shop????? i have to run to the library and then what???? i have to go the the grocery store and then what??????


i'm gonna get in the car and drive to buffy's house so she can talk me out of it and then drive back and by then my boys will be home!!!!
someone please tell me to put my pjs back on and hang out in the house all day, because if i go out, i'm gonna fall RIGHT OFF!!!!!!!

The next best thing is to enjoy the peace and quiet of the house, (well, at least my house is only quiet when no one is home I assume everyone elses home is like that too), stay in your jammies all day and SCRAP!

Darn DH and his ideas - having polished the shelf the scrapbooks wouldn't stand up and kept falling over AND off onto my leg - one with 3 sets of pages in it . Cut a long story short, I lifted the rug in the kitchen and snipped a bit oof the non-slip stuff off and put it under an embroidered runner (Hungarian relations choice not mine ) then put the books back - so far its holding .

So don't polish stuff ever - another timesaver

Well I don't think that I have bought anything off the BAN in weeks, since my Crop a Dile Big Bite (which I got yesterday!)

I am so surprised.

I had to get some adhesive. I am tired of using the squares that never seem to stick, so I got some glue sticks in the scrap section at Wal Mart.

Oh wait!

I bought some felt rick rack.


But that was only 87 cents for the roll and I have used it twice!

I have been using so much stuff that I already have on hand, but I realize I don't enough embellishments. I really don't.

I need to shop.

Or go buy a Cricut

I am encouraging thoughtful, well-planned spending. Embellishments are consumables. A Cricut with assorted carts allows multiple uses rather than having to keep replacing packages of stickers.

Ok I'm just so crazy busy these last weeks with work and a wrestling tournament DH is running tomorrow (so I have been 'running' DH to keep him in line - do this, do that). I have not had an hour in my house in weeks - there is laundry piled up (we are wearing the clothes that are in the back of the closet) and dishes and pizza boxes and it's just a mess! What I wouldn't give for a day......enjoy it for me!!!!

Ok - life is good of course but just a little busy..no real complaints here!

Good news is I'm too busy to shop!

Actually tonight I was talking to my husband about getting one. I was saying which one should I get, the big one or little one.

He said big one.

So there it is.

Now when to get it.
And how to pay for it.

I want it now, but I think I should wait till after my next trip.
