How exotic!
I was really hoping for something with Alaska, but Machu Picchu! I've always dreamed of going there!!
Just didn't think it would be a family trip, more adult...
Cool, thanks so much for posting, memeyers!!

I have the listing of dates and I will try and get them up here when I get a minute

Australia and China ! China by touring i would like. Theres a magic convention
in 2009 but thats not a tour in itself. I am intrigued!:goodvibes :goodvibes

I wonder if they will work in the summer olympics in Beijing some how, or if they will avoid that time frame?

So many choices - the only trouble now is which 1 to pick.

Before the new schedule came out I was thinking London/Paris but now Germany, China or the Sacred Valleys. Decisions, decisions...:confused3

OOH! can't wait to see the pricing. I want to do the China one. Wonder if there will be a stop at Hong Kong Disneyland...

Yes they will be - here is a brief description of the China one

Enchanted China (13 Days/12 Nights)
Your family will never forget walking on the Great Wall, seeing pandas up close, cruising past picturesque mountains or browsing in colorful markets. Visit ancient Beijing and vibrant Shanghai. Cap your adventure at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort!

Well, I took the plunge and booked Backstage Magic. They gave me a little more info. on the phone than they have on the website. Besides the backstage visits at Disneyland, you get to visit places like Jim Henson's studio, the soundstage of Jimmy Kimmel live, and a theater in Hollywood. It starts out at the Renaissance and then you move to the Grand Californian. My DH and I love backstage experiences so this one is tailor-made for us. Since I am a TA, I have my fingers crossed that they will offer a discount like they did this year.

This is the one that I am very interested in

Once Upon a Fairytale - Germany

Discover where “once upon a time” began. Visit quaint towns along the Romantic Road, stay in a medieval castle in a fairytale forest and visit the real inspiration for the castle at Disneyland® Park. Your family is sure to remember this trip “happily ever after.”

Destination Highlights
Heidelberg, Fairytale Route, Rothenburg, Munich, Neuschwanstein

2008 Adventure Travel Dates (9 Days/8 Nights)

Both of the California ones interest my husband and I. One of the Backstage Magic tours begin on my birthday so guess which one I'm leaning towards the most! My husband wants to take the other California one. Maybe two cross country trips in my future! Now I just have to decide if I want to lock in one or both trips before all the details are announced

I too took the plunge and booked BackStage Magic tentatively for August 12-17. This works out great to coordinate with the Panama Westbound Repo. Can't wait! I just hope the price is not too out of my league. I'm hoping for an early booking discount, plus a Repeat visitor discount! My daughter's 18th birthday is on the 17th, so she will get to celebrate at Disneyland and on the Magic!!!

How/why/what were the discounts given for the 2007 trips?
I can't speak for the repeat visitor discount, but there was a early booking last year around September. I think up to $700 on select bookings. I saved $1000 (2 people) for the Wyoming trip.

Hopefully we can combine a early booking and repeat visitor discount..

Do you know for sure they will be offering a repeat discount or just hoping they will?
If this is like all the other Disney ventures they probably will not allow combination of discounts

I'm speculating ... and hoping. I'm pretty sure a family on our London/Paris ABD got a discount for their second adventure, but I'm not sure if they got the early booking discount. I'll let you know what I get in September.
