Evening Ladies, It is 11:15 and i just got home from work. I am starving and decided i needed a lenders bagel..lol..So i am waiting for it to defrost. We were supposed to go to applebees tonight for my boss this was his last night but he has to be at the new store tomorrow at 6 a.m.. So we are going to go out on saturday night instead.... Woohoo.... I am glad it was cancelled i am tired tonight and didn't feel like partying. Man i am getting old.

I finally got out of this town today and drove two hours to Wal-Mart and have lunch at Boston Pizza. All the snow is off the road so I'm outta here!! (although there is an avalanche warning)

Sorry if I missed anyone! We had baseball pictures with Bryan early this morning then I had a baby shower for Tom's cousin this afternoon. My BIL and nieces then came over for dinner so its been crazy today. I'm happy to report that Emily is doing much better without the binky . She whined a little when she was tired today but didn't even cry at bedtime tonight (although I did have to rock her to sleep in the rocking chair). Have a good Monday everyone!

Sorry Michele! It was a last minute decision to go to Huntington. We were already in Cold Spring Harbor at the fish hatchery and Tom and I had a craving for Bon Bon Chocolatier so we drove over. Jen - Its great that your husband is already discussing the next cruise I guess you will be booking the next one onboard because I know all of you will love it. We ended up having such a good time in November we booked this trip while on the Magic.

We had a bit of good news though - Kerry had an interview this morning for a 2 year Media course at college starting in September and she text me to say that both her and her friend had been accepted. So it looks like she's going to be sponging off us for another couple of years

We've had a super busy last several days. Thursday we had DH's grandmother's funeral in Pittsburgh. It was nice to see all of DH's extended family. His grandmother was Jewish and the service was mostly in Hebrew. The descendents are all Christian and although none of us really knew what was being said, it was nice. Brennan was even loudly singing along to a song (he loves to sing at church and is always off key) and the Rabbi asked him to come up and read a prayer from his Hebrew prayer book. Brennan loudly says "I don't know you people's words, I'm just singing words I know to the song." He has never in all of his 7 years said "you peoples" so I'm not sure where that came from.

We came home Friday evening and almost forgot that Keegan had a football clinic to attend from 6-9. He got there about 6:15 and loved it. Saturday both of the boys had baseball and Derek had to work in the evening. The boys had a couple of friends come over to play all afternoon.

Yesterday we went to church and then Keegan had practice for his all star travel team. The team has 12 boys from the regular spring league and they've been playing together each summer for about 5 years now. This year they are playing in a tournament in May so they started practice last month. Usually they don't start until the end of May and only play in June/July tournaments. As 8- year -olds they won several under 12 year old tournaments. The last 2 years they've made it to the state championships (and lost in the final round). Some of the teams they play have year round teams that travel, so they do well for only playing a couple of months together each year. Last year they played one team that even had indoor winter training facilities. The kids looked like robots--they had top of the line uniforms, matching embroidered bags and helmets like professionals--but didn't seem to even have fun. Our boys are lucky to all have white pants and cheapo printed t-shirts, but they play great and have a blast.

Diane, You'll have to let us know about the Croc outlet. I've got several pair and love the Mary Jane ones the most. The cheapest I've seen Crocs is at Costco (only Beach style) for about $22.00 but I heard they had to stop selling them because they were too low for competitors.

Mandy, I love your Sketchers. Thanks for the information on free dining. I wish they'd give it to us at DVC. It would almost be worth getting a moderate and buying a 1 day pass (can you still do that?). We have annual passes so we'd have to buy no expiration tickets. Our DDP is going to cost about $800 in August.

I have to get to Super Walmart for groceries sometime today and pick up Keegan's lab work sheet from his doctor's office. He was supposed to have his labs done last Friday. The boys both have baseball tonight and Brennan has bowling so it's another crazy day here.

I'm still shrugging off my work spreadsheets and figured out that free dining would begin in the latter half of our August trip. It would cost us:

$666.00 to stay in a value resort for 4 nights with free dining and 1 day tickets.

$965.00 to stay in a moderate resort for the 4 nights with free dining and 1 day tickets.

Our dining plan through DVC would be almost $500 without any tickets.

The best deal would be to stay in a value resort--we'd have to pay $166 more but we'd get 4 theme park tickets and not have to use any of our DVC points. I am not sure DH will go for it, but it's not a bad deal.

Does anyone know if you "have" to use the park tickets by check out or can we save them for another future trip? I tried to add no expiration into the quote but you can't do it for just 1 day. We have annual passes, so we wouldn't need them.
