Thanks, our friends were at WDW over Christmas, so hopefully we'll be talking about Disney all night

How was your dinner and WDW details.. I could talk about WDW anytime!! That's why when friends are planning trips, they call me!!

So, I am a bit behind - forgive me if I miss something... We got home from our outing at 8:00ish, to find we were out of power from the storm... we hit traffic coming home because of down trees on the turnpike, and down power lines.. then, we got home and everything it pitch black.. so, NO computer for me!! LOL Power finally came back on at 4:30 this morning...

I didn't mean to ramble, but I wanted to fill you guys in.

There is no such thing as rambling here - thanks for sharing all of this with us!! I will keep you all in my prayers!! Keep us posted on her progress/appointments.

Laurie - Hope you had a safe trip today and had fun! We are scheduled to go to DH's cousins next Saturday (15th) in the AM then off to Menlo. We were debating even finding a cheap hotel that has an indoor pool nearby and making a fun time for the kids that night. Hopefully we can arrange something!

There is a Sheraton not far from the mall, and I am pretty sure they have an indoor pool - not sure of the rates - my friend got married locally, and we got ready at that hotel, it was really nice... I am there next Saturday - most likely - as long as baseball doesn't through a wrench in my plans!!

On the bright side - we did see the Mets LOSE yesterday - but, I heard they one the other game - wish we would've seen that one!!!

So, I was up late surfing the web last night and guess what I found...

Its too early to get really excited because they may change the date 10 times between now and August but I can hope! I always wanted to see a shuttle launch but some how the timing of my visits to FL is off or the weather doesn't cooperate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for August

That would be so cool! But, like you said, they'll probably change it a million times before that date! But, we can hope!!

Hi everyone!!! I'm home from Girl's Night Out. Wow is all I can say. My face hurts from laughing so much. I wish you all had been there, it was soooo much fun. Now it's back to reality.

Well, you all know how I spent my evening.. IN THE DARK -w/no computer - it was killing me!! LOL Luckily I am the 'queen of candles' - so, not only did we have some dim light, but, the house had a great aroma! LOL

Glad your dinner was delicious - and sounds like the conversation was GREAT!! LOL

No big plans here - laundry, catch up on work, the boys are supposed to have a friend over, I am going to see if they can go over the friends house - this way I can play catch up, being I lost some hours of 'light' last night!

Plans for the day... SHOVEL! I can't believe how much snow and crud we got last night..UGH... Think Spring!

I was glad that all the rain that we got wasn't snow, we'd be snowed in for weeks!! They say for every inch of rain, it would be approximately 10 inches of snow, and they were estimating 3 inches of rain, so, that would've been like 30 inches of snow.. OMG - that would've been horrible!!!!

Plans for the day... SHOVEL! I can't believe how much snow and crud we got last night..UGH... Think Spring!

My girls were up an hour early today... Go figure! Their internal body clocks are constant! Mark hates spring ahead. I don't expect to see him for a while! My big plans are hopefully hanging with you guys!

I can't get over how much snow some of you have had this year, is this normal ? I would be in a deep depression with all that I love it when the clocks go forward and it's lighter for longer in the evening - roll on Spring !!

We've just got back from a couple of hours in Birmingham. I had my Disney fix in the Disney Store and I bought my best friend's birthday present - a gorgeous Eeyore pillow (it will go with her Pooh one I bought a couple of years ago)

I've got nothing planned for this afternoon except cook our Sunday dinner - a full turkey dinner - Mmm, I love eating it, I just hate cooking it - then tonight it's Lost on TV (yay !!)

We had a really nice day yesterday. We went to our favorite local Italian Pizzeria for lunch. My parents took Keegan to the mall and the movies. Brennan and I had some friends over all afternoon. The kids played while we looked at some of our family Disney trips/cruises and sport scrapbooks. We later did some crafts with the kids. Derek had to work all evening.

We had a viscious severe thunder storm roll through with dime sized hail for about 10 minutes. We collected a few to freeze and show Keegan. We made tacos and snuggled up in front of the fireplace and watched movies until bed. Keegan had a great day health wise and had very little pain. The wind gusts were very strong all night. We can't wait for spring to come. We all want to get to a beach as soon as we can.

We are heading out to do prescription pick ups from Walmart and buy some paper goods from Costco (we go through way too many paper towels in a week!) before heading to a family friend's 18 -year- old's birthday party. I was a senior in high school and babysat his then 3 -year -old sister when his parents went to the hospital for his birth. Makes me feel my age!

So after my girl's night out and being up late and having a fewww cocktails I spent 6 hours yesterday at my nieces' cheerleading competition. OMG are cheerleaders loud. The good news is that their team place 1st out of six teams in their division. They were heading to Albany today for another competition after being at the oncenter from 11:00 am to 9m on Sat The extremely bad news is that Sydney is convinced now that she needs to be a cheerleader. Ugh, the makeup and barely there costumes plus the 1000's of dollars my sister pays are not appealing to me
