Laurie - Hope you had a safe trip today and had fun! We are scheduled to go to DH's cousins next Saturday (15th) in the AM then off to Menlo. We were debating even finding a cheap hotel that has an indoor pool nearby and making a fun time for the kids that night. Hopefully we can arrange something!

Morning everyone else. Busy day here. Have to take Ian shopping for a birthday gift. He has a birthday party for one of his friends tonight from 7 - 9 pm. Can you imagine a bunch of 8 year olds at a party that late? Should be interesting. Of course there will also be ferrying of the teenager. I haven't been informed where the destinations are yet.

I slept in late today came home with a major hedache from work last night.Nicole and I had a huge fight last night before i left for work. i will spare laurie the repeat and just give the highlights basically she is grounded for the school stuff and she threw a fit because i wouldn't let her go out last night with her friends. I am ruining her life etc. Of course it is all me not jeff because he is just my puppet and does whatever i say. So we are still not speaking today. There must be something in the air this week affecting all the teenagers..lol

Its too early to get really excited because they may change the date 10 times between now and August but I can hope! I always wanted to see a shuttle launch but some how the timing of my visits to FL is off or the weather doesn't cooperate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for August

Wow, that would be so cool, and we could still be onboard when this happens.

We saw a shuttle launch back in 2001. We went down to the pier at Cocoa Beach to watch it, and it was brilliant. It was really noisy, and we taped it, and the camcorder could pick up the fuel tanks separating. I'm a bit of a space nut anyway, so I'd be thrilled if this happens, but like you say, it's more likely that the date will be put back
