I must admit that it's fun looking around all the souvenir shops, as I know you won't have these things. They're only little trinkets, but it's great to receive stuff, especially when it's not Christmas or your birthday

My downfall is candy like licorice, swedish fish, starbursts etc. Don't get me wrong I like chocolate too, but could eat candy by the bagful!!!

OMG me too- Skittles, Swedish fish - I could eat a WHOLE bag of the fish, and I am not talking a single serving bag - I am talking a BIG one - then afterwards I feel like puking.. But, I'll eat chocolate too - my fav is the Take-5 Bars... they are great!!!

You sound like me...I loved teaching pre-k and plan to go back to it after Emily is in school. I liked working at the elementary school too but the idea of teaching high school would terrify me!

That sounds like my husband...he is addicted to Haribo gummi bears.
He doesn't go until 12pm. We have lunch at 11am. I often feel like I spend the whole morning waiting until 12! I can't wait until next year when he is full day! (Although I am sad that he is growing up so fast) Even next year school doesn''t start until 9:25 which I think is late but he doesn't get out until 3:30. What time do your kids go in?

OH.. Those gummi bears are the best... I like the clear ones...............

We did PM-K too .. I kinda liked it - Picked them both up at the same time, and was able to enjoy lunch w/my friends!!

I have absolutely no desire to ski either...luckily both of my kids are the same way. They love the beach and hate the cold. My son gets excited to see snow but then I bundle him up and he gets outside and wants to come back in within 5 minutes. We end up bringing in a bucket of snow into the house for him to play with

NO skiing here - I never took a liking to it, so, my kids will never know it exists! LOL They do like sledding though, outside in the snow - like Veronica said, too much bundling up for me! Then, you have a lot of extra laundry..

Alaska is too cold. I love candy corn too especially mixed with peanuts and chocolate chips, it tastes like a baby ruth. You are not weird

TOTALLY freezing here too, but heading for a warm up this weekend.. I think a BIG 50 degrees!!
