Mandymouse How long does it take you to fly from the UK to MCO?

If we were to do it in one day it would take approx 12 hours including layovers.

Sandra - It takes us anything between 9 and 11 hours flying direct, it's the only downside to holidaying in Orlando, but it's all worth it once we get there :thumbsup2

Wow 9 hours i think i would go nuts that long on a plane. Well nicole is finally ready to go shopping. She changed about 6 times in the past hour...lol..she saw a friends pants from hot topic and now she must have them. Check in later tonight . Michele

Good evening everyone

Laurie - Glad your party was a success. Have you recovered yet?

Sandra - Wow, you have a long trip to get to FL! Where do you live? The two+ hours on the plane is about as long as I can take with my kids!

Michele - Sorry Outback was not a great meal. I've had the same problems with them and always order my steak butterflied too. I took a break from cleaning today and went to Riverhead. We went to Atlantis MarineWorld and hit the outlets. How was your shopping trip?

I'll check in later.
Veronica

Veronica[/QUOTES]Shopping was good. we spent a small fortune but we had fun.
We have to fly jetblue with the t.v.s or my kids are bouncing out of there seats with boredom and it is only 21/2 hour trip.

I live in a small coastal town approx 30 miles from Alaska across the border in Canada. (That's 30 miles up the coast by boat - it takes over a day to drive around the mountains) It's about a 3 hour flight just to get to the nearest Int'l airport and then approx eight hours from there. But for two weeks of sun it is well worth it.

Wow:eek: That is one long trip to see the mouse. You must be a very patient person. I could never travel that far.

Congratulations on the upgrade! How did everyone react when you told them the surprise? They must have been so excited!

My Daughter can't stand it! She just keeps walking around saying "I can't believe we are going on the Mickey Boat!" Her birthday is August 4th so we are making a big deal out of this being her birthday cruise!

Glad you had a good time shopping, was it fun shopping like buying clothes ? :)

Wow Sandra, that is some travelling you have to do. I thought we had it bad. At least it's all worth it to get to the Happiest Place in the World !!:thumbsup2

Jen, that's great news, no wonder you are so excited. So what's the difference from a Cat 6 to a Cat 4 ? Is it a suite ?

Have a great day everyone :)

That is so great - I wish we could do that also - we are 'slumming' in a category 9!! LOL :thumbsup2

Congrats jen,
We will be just a few doors down from each other. I think all the cat 4 are on deck 8 with the cat1,2,3's.

Have great day girls. I have a lot of errands to do today so no chatting for me until later.

Michele

Hey - I am excited :woohoo: - not sure if I told you, but I got the OBC from doing the house party - a big $50 - and I had $50 already, so, I have a HUGE HUGE $100 in OBC - that'll get me a few drinks at least! LOL My TA also offers a 5% cash back after you cruise, so, that is a nice thing..

Michele - what category are you in?? I think I want to hang in your cabin!!

A friend of mine from the UK Community, who is sailing on the first Double-Dip this May, has just PM'd me to say that Palo brunch is being offered on the Wednesday (the 2nd Castaway Cay day). Personally I wish it was on Nassau day, but at least we know now - woohoo !! I can't wait

Laurie, it sounds like your party was a great success :thumbsup2 I'm so pleased that you were able to enjoy it too

So is that headache Bahama Mama or Konk Kooler induced ? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Did you make any cocktails at your party ?

Yay ! I'm so pleased that you have managed to get Vero Beach booked now - you must be so excited

I'm sure you'll have plenty to do the day before our Cruise, but if you have time, go down to the beach jetty at Cocoa Beach and you will see the Disney Magic set sail. We did this last summer, we went to see the Wonder set sail on the Sunday, and we got on it on the Thursday, you can read about our day here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1534726

Have a great day

OMG - I finally checked it out - the pics are awesome!! We HAVE to do that!! Where do I go - just follow signs for Cocoa Beach? How far is that from Pt. Caneveral? I TOTALLY want to check it out - I will have to check and see where the Magic is that week, because we will be up by Pt. C, by around 4ish - so, that would be great!

I am getting so excited for the trip!! :woohoo:

Thanks Laurie, but I've just realised that the Disney Magic will be on the West Coast this Summer, what a shame - but for future reference, this is where we went http://www.jettypark.org/

Hey everyone!!! Congrats on upgrading to a cat 4. It's not all that much bigger but it is nice being on deck 8, so close to all the deck 9 action!!!
We are splurging on a cat 3 this time on deck 8 also. Woo Hoo party time!!!!
