Wasn't it great to see the sun today ? We were at DHS this morning, then we went to Chef Mickey's for a late breakfast. After brekkie, we went back to the room to start some packing, do washing and sunbathe by the pool. Tonight we had our last wander around World Showcase ~ and now we're getting ready for bed

The girls are at Epcot tonight, they won some sort of after party tickets. Of course I was busy washing their dirty clothes so now I'm stuck in the room by myself....... Can we all tell I'm having a bit of a pity party for myself?

I'm glad everyone had a good day today! Well, after a very early morning (getting up at 3:30am) the flight down was great (on time and both kids slept ). We went and had lunch at Portobello then wandered around Downtown Disney. We were happy to see we brought the sun with us for a while today. We then headed to the hotel so the kids could use the pools/slides but of course it rained. Luckily after dinner the kids all got some swim time. I am heading to bed soon since I want to get up early and hope to be at the port around 10:15. See everyone in a few hours

Hey everyone,

We stayed at a Comfort Suites and when we checked in,: there was a kitten out front. The front desk said there were several of them. My daughter insisted that I go out in a rain storm to buy them food. We tried to catch them and even e-mail an animal rescue group who said that there are kittens all over and there is nothing they can do. I finally convinced my daughter that they would be fine and that lots of people feed them. My husband ask what I would do if I had caught them so I told him, take them to a vet while we were on the cruise and then take them home ( to join the other 6 ) He said" Over my dead body" and I said "that can be arranged!" rotfl:

Then we mini golfed and swam at Old Key West. We suprised the rest of our group and they were going to O'hana's for dinner, Disney Dining said that my daughter could go with them, but they could not accomodate Tom and I, I was bummed, but when we took my daughter over we checked with the desk and they got us all in

Then they all went to Down Town and Tom and I went back and did laundry and repacked, we then drove to Cocoa Beach. There is a fair amount of water damage at our hotel which is right on the beach. there are hotel staff that still can't get to work. There are teams of people drying out rooms and we had to have our room moved becasue there was a big generator running right outside the door.

Oh well we are here and should be at the port at around 12. I will be wearing a black Berks East Gymnastics Polo shirt and I think my little one will have on her Bell dress.

Can't wait to meet everyone!!!

Alright - am I the first one home?!?!?!??!

We arrived safely in NJ today!! I am not sad that we arrived safely, but sad that we are back here!!

The cruise was great! It was so awesome meeting all of you!!! I can't wait to get my pics uploaded onto the computer! Have to check out some of the bahama mama shots!! I just can't believe it is all over already!!

thanks to all for the great FE stuff!!!! The kids were thrilled finding their goodies in the FE when we arrived back to the room!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo - who rebooked?? I know Danielle and Mandy did - and so did we!! Not sure if I told you about the 7-day that I booked a while ago - well, I cancelled that before I left, and wound up booking a 3 day for Nov. 2009.

Mandy - when are you heading home (or did you head home?) - OH - have to tell you this - that black Mickey purse you had - I thought it was TOO cute - wellllllllllllllllllllll - found it in the outlet today for 12 bucks! So I got one!!

Michele - I hope you arrive home safely! It was great seeing you this morning at O'hana - Hopefully we can catch up tomorrow - that is IF you ever make it out of MCO today!!

Sandy - I hope you are enjoying yourself! Say hi to Zach and Cody for me!! Anthony was so upset when he saw the pic you sent - he wanted to know why he couldn't stay on that cruise too! LOL

Jen - it was great hanging out w/you by the pool the other day - we sure had some laughs, didn't we?? I wish w could've met up again during the cruise though - or at WDW... hey - maybe next cruise, right?

Veronica - as I sit here and type this post - Carm is in the other rooming yelling at the Mets game! Beltran - GRAND SLAM!! How was your time at WDW? Anthony can't wait to get together w/you guys soon - he keeps talking about Emily and Bryan - he thinks they are so funny!!

Danielle - Was it hot enough for you at WDW? We stayed at Wilderness Lodge - it was pretty nice, we had never stayed there before.. I highly recommend it - and the location is awesome! I have to tell you who I saw in my travels at WDW... you are going to crack up!!!! LOL

Suz - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - did you talk John into another cruise or what?????? I think w/a little persuading, I could've roped him in!! LOL Did the girls think I was a crazy stalker lady or what??

Diane - hey there hallway neighbor!! How was your trip home??? Did you go right from the boat or did you stay over someplace??

Debi - it was great meeting you before the cruise!! I think I saw Paul on the ship more than you!! So - do you ever think you'll get AIM up and running on your computer or what???

Mary Ellen - I didn't realize you were DVC too! That is great! I really wish we got to spend some more time together on board - I didn't seem to run into you all that much!

Well, I am off to switch loads around - I hope you are all having a great time IF you are still in WDW and hope the rest have safe travels home................................ After traveling 21 hours we are finally home. Only to arrive and take DD to the hospital as she has an ear infection in both ears!!

Sorry I didn't get to meet any of you I really intended to but that first day of the cruise didn't go as planned. (it never does) I didn't manage to drag DD out of the Mickey pool until 2:30 and then we went to find the cabin and before I knew it, it was 3:45. Too late to meet you all.

WDW and the cruise were great. Yes we did get wet at WDW but compared to here it was nothing. We laughed and said this is rain. If they call that rain then they don't know what real rain is. It was like having a warm shower.

On the day the storm was supposed to hit and they opened the parks an hour earlier we were one of approx 30 crazy tourists at RD at MK. It was great. DD got to wake up tinkerbell and there was nobody there. We had fantasyland to ourselves basically for the first hour. You know the park is dead when you can ride big thunder mountain three times in a row with no waits at 2:00 in the afternoon.

We also got a dream. At epcot we were picked 1 of fifty other families that got a private meet for an hour with all the characters. It was awesome. We got autograph books and four free photopass pictures to download. DD was in heaven. (it really made the trip)

As for the cruise. It was really good and DD really enjoyed it, but being next to RCCL at Port Canaveral and Nassau it was easy to compare the two. (I had been on the Majesty twice which was in Nassau) Disney is better for families which kids under 10 and we probably will take another Disney cruise before DD is 10 but after that I'm outta there. It's back to RCCL. It seems Disney does the bare minimum for a cruise because they now they can. RCCL just seems to go that extra mile. Also whats with the lining up for everything? On RCCL we never lined up once just walked right into the dining room. It's not like you don't have a seat? Mind you Disney is wonderful at getting people off the ship that was the easiest disembarkement I have ever been through.

Don't get me wrong I love Disney and everything about it. Like I said I will take another DCL cruise probably in 2010 as I feel there is not a better cruise line for kids. Also I won at Bingo!!!

Well I hope you all have safe journeys home and I hope we meet someday.

Hey Bahama Mama's

I'm home and depressed We landed at 6am this morning, and we've had a couple of hours sleep, then I did about 5 loads of laundry before finally getting 5 minutes on here before our Chinese takeout arrives

Thank you for a great Cruise everyone, we had the best time ever. It was 'Wonder'ful to meet you, and the Bahama Mama's had so much fun together

After disembarking, we had 2 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel. We had a great time ~ but it wasn't Disney

I can't wait to download our photos, and get started on my trip report

Not only did the Bahama Mama's have a fab time, but Kerry and Becky had the best time ever with Tori, Bethany, Nicole and Sarah ~ I think they've made some great friends there

Yes Laurie, we rebooked on the Cruise for next August, but I think we may play around with the dates, as I have to think about Becky getting her exam results next Summer and when she has to enrol for college

Thanks again girls, it was brilliant to meet you all, and I'll do a proper catch up tomorrow when I wake up

I think we'll have to seriously think about having a Bahama Mama Reunion Cruise in the next few years

Hi Everyone,

I'm still here! Tomorrow(today) is our last day at Disney. We've had a blast!!! Rode Everest 4 times today or was that yesterday. I'm off to get all packed up for the trip home tomorrow (today). We have breakfast at O'hana at 8:30a and our Magical Express doesn't leave until 5:45 pm. We'll be hitting MK at least for a few last rides.

It was great meeting and seeing everyone around the ship. Our first cruise was wonderful. I didn't rebook onboard but we will certainly be taking another cruise in the future.

I'll catch up with everyone in a few days.

Hi everyone,

It really was great meeting all of you.

We are leaving WDW today. We've had a great trip and can't believe it's coming to an end. The boys have school in the morning and are going to have a tough time wanting to go!

We were able to go on the DVC sponsored castle suite tour last night and that was awesome. I'll have to post pictures when I get them uploaded.

We did rebook onboard, but not sure if we'll switch dates due to Keegan starting junior high football and their week long mandatory camp they have before it starts. We may do California instead too, but we wanted to atleast get the 10% off and obc while we could.

We are staying at Pop Century thanks to free dining and getting about $150 off our annual passes with being able to apply the one day passes to our annual pass renewals. The room is great, but the internet connection is sporatic and takes forever to do anything on here.

I'll write more later when we get home,

There were so many of the rest of the Bahama Mama's I didn't have the opportunity to meet! I hope you all had a great trip.. I learned a very valuable lesson.. Don;t ride the Disney Bus to the cruise.. It takes too much time!


So I didn't book on board but Mark, who said he would never step foot on a cruise ship, keeps talking about the next one! Time to start saving!!!

School starts tomorrow for me.. Dumb teacher meetings! The kids start Wednesday. I am excited about that! The kids make the job!

Well I'm feeling a little back to normal today I was up early and did my grocery shopping, then I had to take Becky to town to get her school uniform (thankfully next year she won't need one when she heads to college) so this is the first time I've managed to get on the laptop today

Sandy, I hope you enjoyed your 3 night Cruise, I can imagine it being very quiet without the Bahama Mama's there

Hi Bahama Mamas!

We just got home a couple of hours ago but I had to leave the unpacking to come tell everyone it was a great cruise and having so many friends already on board really made the cruise wonderful! Thanks so much for all the FE gifts - the kids all loved getting surprises each day We had fun at Disney World (although it was hot) after the cruise and we even booked a free dining package for next year (although I may have to play with the dates). I have to read through all the pages tonight and do a real catch up but I just wanted to check in with my pals!
