I am packing to take my daughter Sami and her friends to a local hotel for a swim party and sleep over The weather is looking iffy with lots of thunderstorms. Luckily I bought lots of craft stuff!!

Hi everyone.

I'm starting to get worried about our documents since everyone else seems to have received theirs and of course we have not yet. But when you live in the middle of nowhere what do you expect!

I have the next week off work so myself and DD plus a friend and her two kids are going camping for a couple of days. It's not really my idea of a good time but when it is finally sunny here you gotta get out while you can. By the way for July we had 29 days of rain!! We don't usually get that until November.

We leave for WDW Aug 15 so I better start sorting our clothes and packing soon!!

Good Afternoon Bahama Mamas

Paul & I had a great day yesterday. We didn't get any shopping, but we went out to a Thai restaurant last night and the food was delish We had platter to share for our starter and we had sweet & sour chicken and a green thai curry for our main dish and a bottle of wine. It was the first time that we'd been there and we'll definitely go back again

Today I'm knackered (you know that I can never sleep properly in a hotel for the first night), so I'm just going to chill here

Well we are here in toronto.. Our suite is huge. Very new, clean has full size appliances... It is nice to have the extra space..

Em's 1st session with Simona is tomorrow at 9:15.. She will be evaluated... Then we go back to for 5... Em and I will be pros at the Toronto Metro!

It is also Sarah's 7th birthday. She and Mark are going to the zoo...

Ok.. I am pooped.. catch ya tomorrow!

Yes we had a house full of happy girls last night I love spending New Year at Disney, it's my fave time to go. We like to head to the Rose & Crown in Epcot to ring in the UK New Year (7pm) with the other Brits

Sami had a great time at her party, I started out stressed out getting everything together and then when we got to the hotel we found that there were 2 huge family reunions going on and the pool was stuffed with big pushy people who mowed over my kids and many of my guests weren't there yet, I was in a panic, but luckily the pool cleared out, my guests arrived and we had a great night and Sunday. All the kids were asleep by 1 am I only got about 3 hours of sleep, so I am dying and I have a busy work week ahead ( whine, whine) I'm so glad it went well!!

Morning Ladies, Sorry i was MIA yesturday The computer was having issues again and my dryer decided to bite the dust so i had schlepp all the wet laundry to the laundromat..fun..fun.

Hey Michele, oh no, I hate it when my washer or dryer play up, I hope you get it fixed or replaced soon. My computer was being a pain last night too, it froze up while I was AIM to Laurie and Sandy last night, but thankfully I didn't miss our ship (though I did miss you )

How's Cristina ? How long has she been home ? Are things still difficult at home ? Have fun with her today and enjoy lunch

No we decided to eat dinner with everyone who is coming on the cruise with us that nite and will be eating a Palo on Tuesday Night. I also will not be staying in my wedding gown all day as the wedding is at 10AM and it will be too hot to be wondering around on castaway with it on but I did buy a second dress to wear that nite which is shorter and lighter.

Nothing doing here except work I didn't get much actually sewing done this weekend. Just a lot of prep work on some sundresses and skirts. I'll do some sewing this week after work (I hope )

A boring day here too - well, not really, but not working - so, WOO HOO for that!!

We took Miss Bella to be 'fixed' this morning, so the boys and I were up and out early. Then we went foodshopping, to the bank, and walmart to pic up the last of the pics from my 'project'. We have to run to the library, and the kids will probably have friends over later - so, nothing great - just the 'usual'...

The girls must be so excited to tell your mom about the next trip! Did your mom know already???

My mum already knew about the holiday. At least Christmas will be easy this year, as all they'll want is $$

Mandy- i am so excited for you and jealous!!!. We have always wanted to be at WDW for christmas and New Years, but never seem to have the funds. One day we will definately do it. I am sure the girls are in 7th heaven.
You seem to travel to WDW so often you should consider buying into DVC, or can you get a package for a better price?

Diane- I loved the beach cake, did you make it?
and re the FE. yeh Husbands are the hardest to buy for. MY DH
likes almonds and macadamia nuts and most other kinds of nuts, no candy fro him; he is borderline diabetic.

Heather- great pictures glad you had a great time, and nice hairdo. I am sure Disney will do a fine job.

Well nothing interesting going on here. I am being held captive in my house waiting for the Air Conditioner repair guy. My AC keeps running and not shuting off. I do not want to come home after vacation to a 32 degree house and a $3000 electric bill

Yes with some help from the kids! I made brownies and cut them into triangles and arranged them in a circle then drizzled melted chocolate icing over to make the volcano, I then filled it with colored pudding for the lava. It was fun!

Laurie - It is actually Thursday the 7th, but we had the party this weekend because I have to help at a golf outing for a cancer fundraiser on the 9th

Heather - Disney will make your hair look amazing, don't worry!! Are you getting the nails and everything? I'm not a girly girl and I would have gotten married in blue jeans if I could have, well our wedding was rather simple and I did my own hair and never thought about the nails so the photos of cutting the cake are nasty! I will certainly make sure my 3 girls look beautiful for their weddings then I can move into the poor house!!

I don't have my trip docs either, but I did do the online registration.

Poor Bella, Cosmo has to go to the vet today also, there is something wrong with his ear, every time I try to look at it he snaps at me. That is after I take Becca to the doctor for her knee. They asked if she had been seen for it and I said no, just her shoulders, back, shins and wrist...pretty soon we will have covered ever body part So much for sports making you healthy!

OMG YOU GUYS!!!!

Em's eval and 1st session was AMAZING!!!! I was in tears! Simona is one of the most amazing people I have ever met! Em loves her!

She had Em on her stomach on a cushioned table. She held her arms like she would have them is she was on all 4's holding just above her elbows. The next thing I knew she pulled her knees up in the perfect crawling position and held it!!! She has NEVER ever done that! She had her on her feet and walked her legs at the ankles to me!

It will be a lot of hard work but do you have any idea how great it is to hear all of the good things that Em can do and not all of the things she can't??? Em WILL walk! I know it!!!!

Sarah and Mark are on their way back from the zoo.I'll take her swimming and then Em and I will head back up for our next session. It is about a 20 minute subway trip and a 3 minute cab ride.

Tomorrow I think Sarah and I will check out Eaton Center in between therapy sessions..

We are meeting Teya and her Mom Wednesday or Thursday!


Sarah will be thrilled with all of the Birthday wishes!
