It looks like you're the first to receive your docs. What was in them ? Just the luggage tags ?

I've only got the room numbers of everyone taking part in the Fish Extender exchanges. I'm more than happy to compile a list of everyone's rooms numbers, so I if you want to PM me with your room number (those not taking part in the exchanges) and then I will PM the list to whoever wants it

My best news is that I chartered Alana and I on our own private boat with our own private instructors (2) who just happen to specialize in scuba for kids. We are GOIN DIVING in Nassau! YAY YAY YAY I'm so excited I could scream.

Suzanne - We're late dining (early was full up).


Our countdown calendar sucks compared to yours. Doh! Shoulda made it a countdown.. I just put in the dates and made it in boxes with disney toons and stuff. We have to count to see how many days are actually left.

Alana got out my enormous bag of disney stuffed animals and placed them spontaneously around the house to help us get "in the mood". It was all her own idea... good idea. Much clutter. : Oh well.. it DOES help me get in the mood. I just love my stuffed Bambi.

Pam that's awesome that you found someone to take you both diving!! I am sure your countdown is great and Alana is having a ball with it What a cute idea the stuffed animals is, that would get me in the mood too. Although I don't seem to have any trouble getting in the mood for vacation

Hi Everyone,

We just got back from Hopkins and Baltimore. Everything went well with the contrast dye (no reaction at all!) and the preliminary reviews of the CT by the radiologist were good. She said they still need to look at it very closely with other radiology doctors, but that it looked like all scar tissue and she didn't see any evidence of the original mass/cyst. I can't begin to tell you how relieved we felt! They said they wouldn't be giving us any results there and would call our doctor, but we basically begged them and they looked at it quickly for us. I don't think we could have mentally made it any longer. I'm really really optimistic everything's going to heal just fine and we are going to end this chapter in our lives. Thank you all for the positive thoughts and prayers. They really, really, really meant a lot.


I hope everyone's having a great day. We are off to baseball in a few minutes and it looks like it's going to pour!

Oh Danielle what a relief for all of you I am so genuinely happy for you to be able to put this all behind you!!!!That was alot for a kid to have to go through (not to mention the parents!!)
Hey they are having the Babe Ruth mid atlantic baseball championships at my kids middle school this weekend!!! It is a nice facility, is that the next age group up??

I want my documents, shoot I still haven't gotten my Magical Express Luggage Tags I feel like Disney is just messing with me this time around!!!

I'll take an upgrade I think they should be nice and say wow your getting married here you here is a better room hahaha we already have a Catagory 5 which i hear is a nice room but still a catagory 1, 2, or 3 has to be better maybe Disney will give us a wedding gift lol Ahhh we leave in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys

I am sitting in the room while Em is trying to take a nap. I am also waiting on which blood tests we need to have done. There is a bit of a debate. She is such a hard stick I want them to be good an sure what they want. Basically it is more of the same but one of our neurologists wants to rule more things out...

Rett - She had a test for the mecP2 gene already and it was negative. This meant an 80 - 85% it is not Rett. The neurologist here wants a gene karotype to be done. This will make it 95%... He also wants a test for Angelman syndrome and williams syndrome... Our Metabolism Doc (who I love) told us we are on the outer fringes now.. If we find anything it would be something that 1 or 2 kids have..

When they first brought up Rett in January it freaked me out. After 2 weeks of waiting the test came back negative. It was torture. This time I am not getting freaked out unless it comes back positive. Same with the others. Em is making great progress and is not regressing.. Her head circumference continues to grow at a nice rate... I am going to keep positive. I know one thing.. I am about at the end of this testing. I am starting to think the unknown is not so bad.

We are really excited for Toronto. We are actually going to meet Teya and her mom for ice cream! Can't wait to meet her... When we get home it will be only 12 days til we leave for FL! I can't wait to meet all of you!

So now I wait..For the phone...

I am glad you are looking at this so optimistically this time You and Mark seem to be handling things very well and even if you never get a diagnosis Emily is making progress!!!!! And that is what counts

Suzanne, I'm not really sure about all the baseball levels. Keegan's team was 11 U and generally they just have regional (their version of national) touranments. His level regionals is in Albany next week. I think they have to be 12 to have the entire nationals/ their world series. They play Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken, which is different than where the Little League teams play in Cooperstown. I think Keegan's team would play at Ripken Stadium next year if they make it to the championships. I really don't know for sure though.

Debi, Happy early 40th!

We had a busy, but good day. I sorted and bagged FE stuff. I am glad to have it all done and ready to hand out. If anyone gets their dream upgrade to a Cat 1, 2 or 3 let us know so we know where to look for your FE's!! That sure would be nice. I checked a couple of days ago and no upgrade for us. I'm happy with the room we have though. I told Derek tonight that I can't wait to open our verandah door and hear the swish of the waves against the ship as we are sailing.

The boys had football practice and it really flies by since it's half the time that baseball practice was. We have an end of season banquet tomorrow night at Pizza Hut for the baseball traveling all stars. Then no more baseball until March. Keegan's coach was trying to persuade us to have him do fall ball or winter ball in some airplane hanger in Hershey, but we are all done. It was a very long season and a lot of long nights/weekends. I'm glad to have the change of scenery with football.

We still never got official word from Hopkins/Keegan's local doctor, but I'm very optimistic that we're in the clear. Feels good to say the least!

3 weeks from tonight we'll be sleeping at AKV!!!!!!!!!!!

Danielle~ I don't know much about baseball as I don't have any boys. It just caught my eye when I was watching the news that they were having that huge tournament here. I am sure it is like lacrosse there are tournament and championships every weekend if you feel like playing in them and of course paying for it

Well ladies 3 weeks from today we will be leaving for Virginia/DC to catch the plane to Florida I can't wait. The kids are all still sleeping and I can't wait for them to wake up to put the sticker on the countdown, I am such a dork
