Hello All! We are going to attempt HS today. Checked all the weather stations and websites, and there is a 50-50 split, half say thunderstorms starting this morning and half say this afternoon . They are now saying the storm will hit full blast Tuesday pm into Wed maybe Thursday morning.
I will keep you posted as I find out info. Also half say more to the west and half say right thru Orlando It's kinda like I say in Maryland when snow hits, we will know how much snow we are going to get after it stops snowing

Laurie the villa is nice, I will take pix and post them when we get back, I do think I like the home we stayed in Windsor Hills a little better, the pool was much bigger, the cost was bigger too

Can you tell I am trying to keep my spirts up and stay positive

Just a quick 'hi'. It's nearly 7.30am, and we're getting ready to leave for EMH's at Animal Kingdom. After riding Expediition Everest a few times, we've got breakfast at Tusker House

We had a lovely time with Lilo & Stitch yesterday and it was nice and hot here too

It looks like we'll be Tropical Storm Fay watching tomorrow, it sounds like we're going to have a lot of rain - nevermind

We have decided to buy chairs - my cousin just got back from Vero and said at the store on the way to the resort, they had them cheap, like 8 bucks - again, not the best, but better than nothing... and cheaper than renting everyday!

Nooo.. you don't have to rent chairs on the boat. I don't think you have to rent them OFF the boat at Castaway either... there's plenty free ones. She must be talkin about something else... a hotel beach or something. I sure hope I'm not wrong here.

I was talking about chair rentals at Disney's Vero Beach Resort - not on the boat or CC - there is no charge for chairs/umbrellas on DCL or CC!

Debi - We were in DHS this afternoon, and we got caught in that downpour before the Block Party Bash, we got soaked

We had a lovely day today. We rode Expedition Everest 3 times before our Tusker House breakfast, which was very nice

It sounds like TS Fay will be rolling in tomorrow. We had a phone call from Disney tonight saying that all the parks are opening at 8am for onsite guests, so I wouldn't be surprised if the parks close tomorrow afternoon - something tells me that we're going to get wet tomorrow

Sounds like you're having a great time Mandy. Stay safe and dry tomorrow. We will be packing and doing last minute errands. Hopefully our flight on Wednesday won't have any problems. We don't get into Orlando until late afternoon. So maybe just showers for us.

Hello All! Right now all is calm. We are going to try and hurry up and wait
We went to DHS yesterday, got fast passes for Toy Story at around 9:15 for a return at 12:20-1:20 All the fast passes go quickly for that ride. We saw the High School Musical Show, Little Mermaid, etc. and then had lunch at the Brown Derby Yum!!! We then rode the Toy Story ride and loved it You wear 3D glasses and shoot at cartoon like targets. Lots of fun.

Yesterday I did some errands (another trip to Target) and I finally got some packing done (nothing actually in suitcases but the piles are ready to go). I still have to pack up my FE stuff and lots of last minute things but I finally feel that I'm on track. I've spent lots of time also checking out the weather down in FL. Tonight my nieces are spending the night so I'm sure there will be lot of Disney talk and prep

Debi, I agree that Toy Story Mania is tons of fun. When Brennan and I flew down for Star Wars Weekends, the FP's were all gone by 11:30 each day. I think we are switching our touring plans to include an AM EMH at DHS this Saturday. We originally planned to go to Epcot that morning and DHS on debarkation day. I'm afraid the FP's will be gone by the time we get there on 8/28. I really wanted Derek and Keegan to try it. How's the standy by line? It was 170 minutes in June. I guess we could always hope for dream fast passes!

Jen/Veronica, I'm a "piler" too, only I have yet to start my own clothes. I've got the boys done and it's my turn today. I'm beginning to regret saying yes to having company today and tomorrow! The boys both have football and school orientations tonight and tomorrow night too.

I hope everyone else on their way has a safe flight/drive down. Good luck to those late packers (like myself).

I called Shirley from the Perfect Gift yesterday to order the boys sand bucket/baskets with movie candy/snacks/waters/caprisun. I did so for past cruises and she did a great job. This time I wasn't going to do it, but figured with 2 days at CC they'll get plenty of use out of the buckets and we can donate them to the kid's club there (or if anyone on the cruise wants a bucket to take home let me know).

Well, I'm going to get going and finish up payroll. It's my last work task and I only have to get one more time sheet in (of course that person's on vacation too).
