2008/2009 Swap Calendar updated to pg 23

I've been trying to get on top of all my bits of cardstock but cutting them into sizes ready for photo mats, toppers, squares etc (all the usual stuff) because while I LOVE my colour swap kits (and use them a LOT) stocks are getting low and what I have left don't work with the pics waiting for scrapping (but I'll use them sooner or later just not this week), and I'm trying to use up (some of) my patterned paper.

It occurred to me that sometimes we really need just "bare" cardstock to complete a page, maybe because we have embellishments which need squares under them, or letters for a topper, or a mat to make a photo stand out from a hectic ground. So then I wondered if anyone would like a "mystery box" swap, where each person would provide "blank" elements (usual rules on layering but no patterned paper) for those pages where we only need maybe one piece but don't want to cut a fresh sheet to do it.

I know a lot of you are all organised now anyway thanks to Hope's challenge, but I thought I'd throw the idea out for us to toss around and see what we think. I haven't worked out any fine details, this is just the result of seeing lots of shapes in plastic wallets

I was brainstorming (can you tell we've had Imagination Movers on??) about the ABC Swap. If it's ok if I hostess, is it ok if we do sign-ups in maybe May/June with a due date in September? I'd like to have them swapped back out before we head to WDW the first week of October (7 months from tomorrow, but who's counting??) I need to look at the calendar again and see where there's room. I'd like to do it during the summer, if possible.

I already have my "S" for Snowhite waiting (been months now) not that I'm anxious or anything (I better be the early bird on the morning of these signups)

I have no idea what kind of music they play. I saw it someones siggy once.

Don't even bring them up! They broke up last week! I am devastated. Okay, they didn't really break up, but one of their two lead singers left the band. It's kind of a Beetles situation, although the 4 remaining members are continuing. They are a Canadian group, and they play kind of quirky rock & roll music. When I was in high school, the only AM music station I could get in my car was a Vancouver station, so I've been listening to them forever.

Hey so I was bored at work and since one of my jobs is to do analyzation of trends (exciting I know)
I did a chart of the current year of SWAPS and last year (since that was my first year)
Along the way we as a group have done some pretty cool swaps but some of them have not pulled over to this year and I have one that I would love to do.
Holiday Elements! now we all love Disney. C'mon we wouldn't be here if we didn't but I would love some just plain ol' holiday toppers tags etc....
I know there is a Holiday complete page swap that's going to happening later but this will be elements.
I was also thinking of General Travel swap...i go all over when i can and i scrap it. We could do national parks, N. America, Mexico, Canada Caribbean etc...
Would anyone like to do any of them. I'll put up a poll....

I've thought about doing a travel swap before, but I didn't know how well it would work out because we've probably all been to different places. Us, AZ or former AZ girls have probably managed to hit some of the same things though.

Anyone else been to Barcelona? I'm sure Arizona Rita and I could use some Barcelona thingys...

I'd be happy to host another weird everyday completed page again - maybe in the fall - Buffy could you put it on for September exact date TBD...

If anyone has any other completed page ideas (non-disney as I have to use up the *boxes & boxes* of my disney swap items) I would love to hear them. I'm itching to do stuff...

Camping
RV'ing
Cruise non-Disney
National Parks
Hawaii
Tropical- could include Carribean St.Johns and anything Island-ish
the USA/Choose a state I've been to 22 states I could use some stuff.
But like TX, CA, FL, etc.....
Road trips i.e. "in our own back yard" like in your own stateAnd then a seperate section for internantional I've never been over seas either but I'd still do some stuff for Mexico.

And for the Holidays :
the groups would be small like 4 each but I'm afraid of getting 4 titles so it would look like this

Valentines Day
1.Title
2. Shapes
3.Photo mats
4.Etc.Please tell what you will do.
