2008/2009 Swap Calendar updated to pg 23

I'd be happy to host another weird everyday completed page again - maybe in the fall - Buffy could you put it on for September exact date TBD...

If anyone has any other completed page ideas (non-disney as I have to use up the *boxes & boxes* of my disney swap items) I would love to hear them. I'm itching to do stuff...

well with the travel I was thinking like
Camping
RV'ing
Cruise non-Disney
National Parks
Hawaii
Tropical- could include Carribean St.Johns and anything Island-ish
the USA/Choose a state I've been to 22 states I could use some stuff.
But like TX, CA, FL, etc.....
Road trips i.e. "in our own back yard" like in your own stateAnd then a seperate section for internantional I've never been over seas either but I'd still do some stuff for Mexico.

And for the Holidays :
the groups would be small like 4 each but I'm afraid of getting 4 titles so it would look like this

Valentines Day
1.Title
2. Shapes
3.Photo mats
4.Etc.Please tell what you will do.

Do you think it will work?

Holiday -- sounds good. I'd definitely be interested. Any idea of the timing?

Travel -- I'm not much help.

Give it a try! Pick a swap that has both pages and elements and try one group of pages -- that way you are not overwhelmed and not really adding to your postage too much. Sometimes I think the pages are easier than the elements. If I have my sketch ready, it takes me two nights to finish a grp of 4 pages.

Your work is so nice Surina, I can't see how your pages wouldn't be too.

I would do camping, RVing, On the Road kinda thing. We don't travel too much either...

You might not believe this but we were so tired by the time we got to Barcelona that I think we took about 10 photos total! We have definitely learned for when we go to the Baltics, going to London 3 days before the cruise! I missed Barcekona and I an not missing London!

Most of our travels are Dis trips but if anyone did an international section (London, Paris, ect) Id do that! And Ive only been to a handful of states. DH was not a big treveller until he discovered the "Magic"!
My kids have seen other canyons and sites, BUT they have never been to the Grand Canyon! Sistine chapel, yes, GC no! Bad mommy?!

Holiday elements, yes. That sounds like fun!

DR, I was afraid of complete pages too until weird! I liked it so much that I even angeled a spot for that one.
Start small, maybe one group and see if you like it. If you dont, then you know! If you do, endless possibilities! Oh, and have fun on Friday!
Having dental work done so will not be driving to Mesa!

You might not believe this but we were so tired by the time we got to Barcelona that I think we took about 10 photos total! We have definitely learned for when we go to the Baltics, going to London 3 days before the cruise! I missed Barcekona and I an not missing London!

Oh, man! Barcelona was on the end of our cruise, so we were all tired and cranky too. But we went to the La Sagrada Familia, the Cathedral and the Block of *******, didn't really do much on Las Ramblas though. I wanted to go to Parc Guell, but no time! I would love to go back there.

Hope, one of the things we did do was eat tappas on Las Ramblas! Banana was disappointed that we didnt make it to the park/museum you just mentioned. We did meet up with Disboard cruise people at the city hall and that was fun!

DR, my favorite teeshirt says "Someone Has To Be The Bad Example", but Susan has more experience at swaps so I'll blame her!

That looks right to me- I know my things are correct. I can also do the binder clips if no one else wants to- It is nice having an extra room where I can out swaps- might have to wait tilllater in the week to do sign-ups since I will be in Orlando with my parents that week.

Tinkerbean, I'm scheduled to do an Everyday Theme swap in July. I was going to do elements and pages, but I can do just elements. Then, in September you can do your pages? Does that work?

Great ideas! I know I would love doing National Parks. We've been to 3 so far and I have tons of pictures. I like how you are thinking of setting up holidays. I'm sure I'll join in on that one too!!!!

I'd say the Nekkid Swap should be after the colour swap - because we might all have a LOT if oddments

My idea was that you'd make up a bag to points value, as there tends not to be many bits big enough for photo mats but plenty for journal boxes etc. (or we could say one mat, one box, one tag, 4 squares but don't need to match)

happy to help - don't mind hosting if everyone's OK with the postage, but I know some poeple get a bit with that whole "abroad" thing
