When can I start making room reservations for a trip in Feb 2007???

I'd like to get as much done as possible ahead of time. I understand that dining can't be done until 180 days before... but room reservations and ticket purchases???

Do they have some sort of major price hike or package over-haul planned?

I have tried the official disney website as well as a couple of travel agent type sites. Nothing is available for 2007.... well except for cruises... and that don't help me a bit.

Anyway... I'll be listening out for any info

I'm not sure you can make reservations yet, but you could try calling 14079347639 you might be able to make them. It seems like I have before I can't remember. The web site will only do dates before the last of December. But if you can't now you will be able to make dinning,room and tickets in July or August. Good Luck.

That's when we're going to be there! Not sure of our arrival date yet, but it will late May to early June. I plan to make ressies as soon as we're within the 1-year mark, but no real reason.

Where did you make these reservations? The TA I have contacted said nothing for 2007 is available yet. Also, the Disney World website won't let me choose anything for 2007. This will be my first trip in 25-30 years. We are planning on celebrating my DD's 5th birthday... and while we are there we might as well celebrate mine too - it's just a few days after hers!! Can you tell I'm all excited??? It doesn't show, does it?

We just booked for August 2007 but it is a Land and Sea package.

Just booked "room only" reservations thru local AAA office for end of March 2007. Was told room prices/packages won't be out until late May/early June of this year but TA will convert them over to a AAA package at that time. Not really hoping for much more than AAA discount since it's Spring Break season.

Although I want to book everything now(as if that will make the dates come sooner?!), hotel was the only portion that was do-able. Online air for my area(rural Wisconsin) is not available until 330 days prior to departure. Considering the flight I want is a 19 seater, you better believe I will be logged on at 12:01am 330 days prior!!

I'm so happy I found a place to share my manic DOCD(Disney Overplanning Compulsive Disorder, that is!! )

Welcome to the DIS, I'm from Wisconsin too!! What airport are you flying out of, Wausau? If it's not too far to drive, MKE (Milwaukee will give you the best price & you can get a direct flight to MCO), I got a direct flight on Midwest Express for 197.20.. Northwest flighs were running comparable at around 205.00, also a direct flight..Out of Green Bay (my other close airport) flights were around 250.00, so with 5 tickets to purchase, I opted to drive a little & save myself the 250.00 on the airline tickets..

Yes, we are close to CWA and I am looking at Midwest flights just because of the direct from MKE to MCO. We flew the 7:30am flight last April and it was so nice to arrive in Orlando before noon and without going thru 2 or more other airports first! Next time we want to avoid the long drive home after the trip(not so bad going, but sooo long coming back!) and get the connecting flight out of CWA(that is the 19 seat turboprop I mentioned in my earlier post) Otherwise, I know there is always something on Northwest going thru MSP...but gotta love the fresh choc chip cookies and wide seats that Midwest offers!!

I should be able to start seeing flights for late March '07 sometime in early May...so a little of this before that (except insert a nice tall Diet Pepsi instead of the coffee!!)

Thanks for the greeting...we will be planning the " '07 trip to Disney Heaven" together.

PS We did the trundle bed rooms in Alligator Bayou at POR last month...it was perfect for my 5 yr old who loved her own "little bed". I've never been to POP so I really should not comment one way or the other...but POR was beautiful!!!... plus so many pools(main pool, quiet pools plus access to POFQ pool with Scales the slide), and the boat ride to Downtown Disney, and, and, and(oh enough already )

Hi, I have booked for January 2007 with Virgin. Can you use them in USA -I am travelling from Ireland. We have to book early, as no operators fly from Ireland between September and April!! We have to fly to London and then to Orlando.

Who did you book with to get the park tickets already?

I have a room only ressie for January 07. When the 07 packages come out sometime this summer I can then add the park tickets and other options. My ressie is based on the 06 Standard Rack Room Rate and will most likely change when the 07 rates/packages become available.

I called WDW Travel and AAA. I decided to use Melissa @ Magical Journeys to do our trip. However they all 3 told me the same package information as I noted above....Just curious, if I could add the tickets at this point I would have a larger balance to be making payments on and would be better at saving money and paying off the trip
