It is a beautiful day here in Cleveland. High was in the 80's! We went to high tea a little victorian place near by. Not Palo.... but it was still very nice.

We have asked our TA to book the 1st Baltic Cruise. It is very expensive but without the the cost of flights it should be OK. This time we will only have a 2 hour drive to the port.

We spent the weekend visiting Scott's parents in Missouri, then came home to prepare the house for our party. Our “Opening of the Adventurers Club – West” party was a success. We both ran up and down stairs so many times during the evening that I think we both got our workouts in! We now have tons of food left – you know, the junk food that you always serve at a party! We will be eating Buffalo Chicken and mini soufflés for a week! On the good side, we also have a big veggie tray left!

It is very windy here today, high wind warning in effect until tomorrow sometime – currently blowing at 27mph with gusts to 47, warning is for 45-55mph winds. Our yard is getting full of tumbleweeds, I need to go push them out of the yard so they will blow to Nebraska!

Scott is on the road today, does not think he will get to post for a few days, he says Hi to everyone.

Yeah weill it is 37 degrees right now and may be the warmest we see all week. Snow in the forecast for the entire week.

Can't wait to be at WDW. We are there December 4-14 and we will need to figure out when we can meet!

It is sunny and 34 degrees here at 7am, it may get up to the 50's today. Yesterday was also very nice, 40's and no wind!!!!! So far, no wind today!!!!

Hey guys, Well, we've had nothing but fire news 24 hours per day for 3 days now. If it wasn't for satellite TV we wouldn't know what was going on in the world. We are about 40+ miles from the actual fires, but the smoke is everywhere and creepy. I was working in Montecito (Santa Barbara) when that fire broke out, I watched it come over the mountain and come down the ridge - it was SCARY So, we are good, but several friends in that area are right in the middle of it. It was 94 degrees here each day the past few days. One more 90 degree day and then a cool down. We are about 10-15% humidity. Jonathan was going on a bike ride yesterday, but had to cancel it due to the particulate matter in the air. We're ready for fire season to go and holiday and award's season to come.

How are you all doing today? It seems like the fires are getting better, but the air quality looks to be awful. We have smelt smoke a couple of times, but otherwise we are clear. I remember the 24/7 fire coverage from last year. You are not missing much in the rest of the world - market dropped again, no mo' money for the automakers, the usual .


for all of you in the 30's . We were in the 90's over the weekend (and it doesn't even usually get that hot in the summer ). It's just wrong to need the air conditioner in the middle of November! It is supposed to cool back down to a respectable 70's tomorrow. Still no sign of actual winter yet -aka high temp falls below 70. Luckily the winds have died down. Crazy weather Friends in WA had school cancelled last week for flooding and Cayla has too much rain too, and we're busy burning up the bottom part of the state.


Hadley, I saw on the other thread that Dave's interview went well. I won't say Congrats yet so as not to jinx it, but here's that it all goes well. So where will you be moving?
