2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

We are flying at 6:30 AM out of Atlantic City so by 9:30 we will be at the AKV trying to check in early.We will see some of you on saturday at the beach club.We had a few people over tonite and now after some pizza and beer we are watching a movie trying to unwind from the tension before a trip.Im going over the list of things I wanted to pack so good bye for know and see you in Disney.

I am still home and except for the essential toiletries we are all packed. We leave tomorrow afternoon and will arrive in FL sometime Saturday.

We are still home too. Leaving at 9:30am on Sat. Should be there around 1pm. Was going to check the bags, try to get a room if it's ready then head to downtown Disney to pick up some things before the cruise. I'd like to find a Staples or a Kinkos so I can send a package home with stuff from there. I'd rather send it home than bring it along.

Will see everyone on Sat at 3pm for the big meet!!

So are we, I think I will have to take some clothes out of our suit cases because I know they are more than 50 lbs and between the 6 of us we have 4 bags and I have not even sent my parents their packing list yet. I have a feeling I overpacked.

For everybody enroute have a safe trip and we'll see you at the terminal since we won't be getting into MCO till late on Saturday.

I'm still home, but headed to work and then the airport!!! Hoping the nasty weather headed this way just brings the rain we so desperately need and doesn't delay any flights. Safe travels to all and I can't wait for 3PM on Saturday!!

We are still here. I don't know if we are going to be able to leave today or not. It hasn't stopped raining. I almost didn't make it out of our street. We are under water. It hasn't reached any ones home yet so that is good. All the red light on my dashboard came on.... Please keep you fingers crossed.....

We had some nasty weather roll through MI last night, a few tornado warnings near the IN border and mid state. Don't know if there were any touch downs though. Not unlikely but unusual for this time of year. All is calm now and about a 20 degree temperature drop.

We leave this afternoon about 2-3pm, depends on how soon I can scoot out of class then its in the van for a nice 20 hour drive We are staying near the port tomorrow night.

Still here. I do wish everyone safe travels during this weather we're having. We want all our DIS to get there safe and sound.
The cold front has yet to move through NC. They think later today. We're finally getting some much needed rain!!

Now to Delta online to check in and print my boarding pass!

Quick question....
This may be a long shot but I heard the shuttle is supposed to be going up on Tuesday. Since that's the day we're out at sea, how close will we be to Port Canaveral? Any chance of being able to see the shuttle take off?

The shuttle launch is scheduled for 11:38 a.m. EDT, with a 10 minute window for launch, the launch inclination is 51.5 degrees which will take it up the east coast of the U.S. Depending on where we are at at that time and what the weather is like we might be able to see it. I know I'll be up on the top deck looking for it, and I know it's been seen/video taped from a DCL in the past.
