2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Joannel: are you an AAA member? possibly they can help. There are so many nice and clean motels on I-92 about 2 - 3 miles from the entrance of WDW.

It has been a while since I used them 'cause we have been using our DVC for so many years now.

This time next week I will still be here at my desk .


Does any one know a cheap, clean hotel near WDW. DH has decided he wants to drive down Friday night.

There is a Redisson in Celebration FLorida I use for alot of people under 100.00 a night most of the time

I just checked rate and the start at 99.00 and have a bed and breakfast package for 109.00

You can also do Priceline and name your own price. I've done that a couple of times and gotten a room right off Disney property for $40-$45 and have been happy both times. They put us in the Sheraton the first time and the Embassy Suites the other. It was a great deal for just one night and I didn't mind doing the last minute thing.

Someone had PMed me about my kids' ages because there are 4 of us in our SR. My kids are 7 and 9 as listed in roster. (Though Bday is a bit off due to type-O still same age. ) I know from others' posts that there are toddlers aboard - fun There are two FEs for which I can't find info and the userIDs don't exist for sending PMs - of I don't know how to PM, which is quite possible... Does anyone know if the 3rd passenger for Trish/kabob1966/SR7535 is a child, very small child, adult, or? Same question for 3rd and 4th passenger in SR 6064/Hauk. Not trying to pry, but don't want to put inappropriate items in FE. e.g. I will give something other than small magnets to FE where toddlers "live" because swallowing magnets could be an issue. (I didn't know these could come apart, but at least one did break in shipping so now I'm worried about toddlers swallowing magnets.) If anyone knows about above families, let me know - PM or here as appropriate. TIA

Linda: I tried to find out the same thing. I am the one who PM'd you. I never was able to PM the other individuals. Maybe they are relatives of a member who has a 2nd room and no a DIS individual.

I knew it was you who PMed me but didn't know if you wanted everyone else to know since it was a PM rather than a post. Anyway, I guess I'll try to wing in when I get there. I've assumed they are kids, so if they are adults traveling in a group, they may be baffled by what I've put in the FE

Does anyone know if the 3rd passenger for Trish/kabob1966/SR7535 is a child, very small child, adult, or? Judging by the photo she sent I think all of the "kids" are teens/young adults.

Same question for 3rd and 4th passenger in SR 6064/Hauk. I don't think I was given ages for their kids. I'll check when I get home and post if I find out anything. I'll also e-mail them when I get home and see what I can find out.

I thought so - I was also trying to get my list and room numbers together and trying to separate the adults from the children.

If someone didn't give their stateroom, I just figured they didn't want to be bothered with any of the goodies, so I didn't make one for those individuals.

Didn't know what else to do. Sure don't want to make anyone do something they don't want to do.

I just stumbled onto the DISboards this past week. I'm sorry I wasn't around to chat with you all much earlier. I've spent every free moment trying to catch up with all the posts on this thread since Tuesday!

It's sounds like this is the cruise to be on! I really can't wait. My husband and I took an NCL cruise for our honeymoon and I went on the four day DCL cruise in '99 on the Magic.

My parents have been DVC members since 1992 and as my Master's present, they booked my husband and me a cabin on the members cruise. My brother is also coming with us. This will be a first time on the members cruise of all of us.

You all have been awesome...every possible question that I could have had has been answered; so a week's worth of reading has been well worth it.

We set sail in almost a week! Yipee!

My parents have been DVC members since 1992 and as my Master's present, they booked my husband and me a cabin on the members cruise. My brother is also coming with us. This will be a first time on the members cruise of all of us.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn right down the street from DTD a few years ago, if that is the same one you are staying at. The rooms were clean and I am very picky about that.
