Thanks Dopey, every one is fine.

It is definately a Monday here. Woke up to a puddle of water in the kitchen. Refrigerator had died and melted all over. So at 6 am I am cleaning up the mess and throwing everything away. Before I have to goto work. If this is any thing on how my week is going to be I am going to bed. Wake me up Friday!!!!

Hope you have a great Monday. It's got to be better than the way mine is starting.

Sorry to hear about the bad start to your day. As a appliance supervisor at Best Buy, I hear this story alot. Let me know if you need any advice on what to look for in a new fridge.

I am hoping they will fix it. There is no $$ for a new fridge in the budget this month.

Hi everyone!!!
Can't believe we sail in 12 weeks!!! I am so excited. Well, it doesn't look like Alexander is interested in potty training at all. I know he can't wear pull ups in the oceaneer's Club either. So we have him in the nursery for our dinner at Palo. I'd rather get him into OC because he loves to watch the older kids. Well, we have a few months, right? He'll turn 3 right before the cruise.

I saw an earlier post about car rental and we are renting at Thrifty when we get to the MCO. We'll then drive to the All Star resort and then to PC the next day. We're then renting a car from PC to the ASR and will be staying there for the rest of the week. This seemed like a cheaper way to go. Plus, they have this "wild card" pick where nothing will be smaller than a mid size car. You pay the same price as a standard.

We are excited about meeting everyone on Sat. Where is the poll to vote on where to meet?

I can't wait to meet everyone!!

Update on Patricks accident- I called the woman who hit him's insurance. She was drunk- spent the night in jail. Never even crossed my mind. Now I am really counting my blessings. If she hadn't hit them I could have been so much worse. I an surprised they told me that. I guess it's public record after the arrest. I am still is shock. SHe is ok so that is a good thing.

Wow - I'm confused. I thought it was set up to close on the 7th.

3pm did work well last year so hopefully everyone is happy with that and the Solarium at the Beach Club is a nice space with not too much traffic and you don't have to worry about the weather!

I know a number of us did break-outs after the meet to different dinners. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I am originally from just outside Rochester. I was up there 3 weeks ago visiting family. The air was so crisp in the mornings. I miss that. Being here in NC, we have about 2 weeks of crisp. Then months of humid sticky air.
I also lived in MA for 2 years and in Jersey for 3. i've sortof been everywhere on the East Coast.

I'll be in touch with my roommate to see if she wants to drive over to Disney for the 3 pm meet at Beach Club. We'll see how it works out.

I would add my name to the link for dining, but I think my roommate has something else planned with other cruisers. We shoudl be close to each other, tho. She is back from her Med cruise and I'll be talking to her sometimes this week.


JOannel: I am so glad your son is OK - it sure could have been so much worse. LOts of hugs to you

I am a very, very happy camper today. I got news this morning that I DO NOT have to go back into the hospital for a surgery that I thought I needed "now". YIPEE YIPEE - I am on cloud 9.

So my next cruise is 8/23 and then 9/13 and I don't have to cancel them.

I got my passport yesterday. I applied at our local Post Office on May 21. I received it yesterday. So you should get yours soon also. I did check the passport web site over the weekend and it said it had been mailed. Looking forward to Oct. Hope to meet you all then.

Wispy I too am an original New Yorker, bronx & westchester. I went to college in Olean- St Bonaventure. We still have a lot of family in the Albany area. We don't get much crisp down here either. We were just in California- the lack of humidity was wonderful.

Kay- good for you- enjoy your trips.

Fridge is fixed - some switch burnt out that wouldn't turn the compressor on. Picked up husband at airport and rent a car. The gave us a small mitsubishi. I will drive it for now, but if they are going to fix patricks car we need something bigger. The car wrecked was a grand marquis. I thought it had to be close to what you had. Patrick is too young to drive a rental so I have it. I don't like sitting that close to the ground.
