2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Hi all,

Hope every one had a great day. We are finally getting some nice weather. The pool is up to 72. So I am hoping for some floating time this week end.

Does any one know what the date is of our 90 day out? I want to put it on my calendar so it doesn't get forgotten this summer.

Have a great evening.

According to my calculations the 90 day mark is 7/23/07.

I'm pretty sure that DCL sends out a letter showing what date we could make reservations. I'm hoping that this year DVC has given us more info by this date (or by the 105 day date for those in cat 3 and above).

Thanks Mary. I have added it to my calendar.

It is a beautiful day today in NW Florida.

I hope every one has a great Friday!!!!

HI lo everyone.

nuts! we will be at the beach that weekend. I will have to remember to bring the laptop or use the business lounge while we are there. We are bringing my parents so we could finally try out Palo. That is one of our goals this cruise.

Palo brunch is wonderful! We did it on the last Member Cruise. Not sure if we'll book it this time or not.

What is everyone else looking at booking ahead of time?

Palo?

Stingray encounter?

Eco tour?

Lots to choose from on CC or many opt to do nothing. :beach:

Hopefully brunch and dinner. We did the eco tour last time, once was enough. I was terrified. I was better coming back in from the sandbar than going. Everyone else loved it though.

Have a great Saturday. I have been sitting out in the sun.

Mark said today he may want to do the eco tour again. We did it back in May '06. While I enjoyed it I wasn't very good at it. We may have to give it a try again.

Good morning Member Cruisers!

We sail in 32 weeks!

Getting pretty excited even though it still is a bit away.

Decided to bite the bullet and get passports for everyone. I think it will be better.

I don't think you'll regret getting the passports. Besides now you'll have an excuse to go on other cruises!

I am seriously thinking about getting passports for my family also. How long does it take to get them? Should I start the process now? Thanks for any tips you can give me.

We sent off for ours over a month ago. We have inlaws in canada so we will have to have them from now on.

It was a beautiful week end in NW florida.

Hope every one has a great Monday!

Someone posted yesterday on one of the other threads I'm on that they are quoting 10 weeks! We sail on the EB Med in May and someone else just realized their passport expires within 6 months of sailing which is not a good thing, so I think they are scrambling right now to get it renewed.

Read this off the main forum, from Feb thru April is the busiest time of the year for the passport office with people all getting theirs to take the family away at either spring or summer break. Should settle back to more resonable timeframes shortly, though I would still advise if you're looking at getting one for this cruise, apply sooner rather than later.

Hi all,

Just came from a walk on the beach. Trying to get in some extra exercise at night with my neighbor. But after an hour of step aerobics I am worn out. It's nice out and I hope it stays that way!!!

Have a great night!!!!

Oh how nice to be able to walk at the beach! I need to start exercising more. Would love to get in better shape before the cruise!

It is great, and we don't do it enough. It's hard to get to the beach in the summer with all the tourists. I made a pact last summer to be in better shape when I turn 50 next year than I was at 40. So I have been dieting and exercising like a fool. I am kind of obsessed with the exercising thing. I go to the gym every night after work and get annoyed when I have to miss it. Considering I was a couch potato for 40 some odd years it's kind of weird. So I am trying to get my neighbor to start. She is too embarrassed to go the the classes with me so we are starting with walking on the beach. We have made it three days this week, so we are off to a good start, but she has kid stuff going onthe next two nights, so hopefully I can get her out this week end. Both my kids are in college, so it's much easier for me to have time.

Well it's a rainy yucky day here. So everyone have a great Thurdsay.
