Happy Valentine's Day!

:hippie:

Happy Valentines Day to everyone. Think we will go see the new movie tonight Music and Lyrics!

Linda - looks like a cute movie.

Do you ever got to Trolley Square where the shooting was? Very sad indeed and I thought of you and your family when I heard the news.

good morning all

hope the rain and sleet and snow is getting better for everyone.

I'm off to get my taxes done and over with. Ugh !!!!!!!

The movie was hysterical. I highly recommend it especially if you can relate to the disco era of the 70's and 80's (tight white jumpsuits!)

Hugh Grant was funny and Drew Barrymore did a great job too. Great movie-"MUSIC AND LYRICS"

I rarely go to Trolley Square, but it is only about 15-20 minutes from my house. It is a trendy mall with specialty shops and lots of restaurants. Alot of people eat there and it seems to be a great tourist spot.

It was a very scary ordeal. Luckily there was an off duty policeman there. In 3 minutes the guy had killed 5 people. Then after that the off duty policeman had him running and he backed into a store where within 3-5 minutes the guy was dead. He had a shotgun, a pistol and a whole backpack of ammunition. Scary that it could have been much worse.

The latest sad news story coming out was that a guy had called his wife to whom he had been married for 4 years. He said on the news last night that when they got married 4 years ago they couldn't even afford wedding bands. He called her and asked her to meet him at Trolley Square because he wanted to buy wedding bands for valentines. She got there a few minutes earlier than he did and she was the first person to be killed. Just walked in at the wrong second. So sad. There is a candlelight ceremony in remembrance tonight at 6:30 p.m. The four in the hospital are still hanging in there. I think one is still in ICU and the other three have been upgraded to serious.

Sad, sad story.

Linda - that is a very sad story about the couple with the wedding bands. Makes you realize how quickly life can be taken away.

Sending extra PD their way, this is really hard to cope with especially when it's so close to home. It's really sad.

I hope every one up north is surviving all that snow. My Brother in upstate NY got 3 feet. Yuck!! I guess I can't complain about the 24 degrees this morning in Sunny Florida!!!!!!

Have a great Friday.

yes, Linda - sad sad story. What is happening to the next generation. I worry about my kids and grandchildren. We can't put them in a bubble and protect them.

Time is already going fast. Can't believe we are halfway through February already. It seems like it was just not long ago we were on SSMC06!

I know what you mean Linda! We leave Friday for our stay in Hawaii that Mark won on SSMC06! Once we get back from that we'll be in full planning mode for this cruise!

I have a question about the corking fee. When we board the cruise do we have to go somewhere to give them our wine or do we wait until the first night at dinner?

Well in the great state of Maine last week we had 8 inches here in Brunswick.
I know about the cold in Fla we were there 2 weeks ago in Treasure Island and the only warm day we had is when we drove up to Disney and then it was only 65. It hit 70 one day in the week we were there.

Everybody have a great upcoming week

Woke up this morning to 7 inches of snow and it is still coming down.

Wow too much snow for me. Tonight is supposed to be our last of the cold for us. I can't wait. It should be 70 by Wednesday.

Have a great night.

Hi Everyone, we still have snow but it's covered by a layer of ice or it has turned into huge boulders of ice. Not much fun it' still on the side streets like ours.

M&M, have fun in Hawaii. I was there back in 1999 and we can't wait till the kids get a bit older so we can go again.
