2007 DDP Question - Can you substitute a Soup / Salad offering for the Appetizer?

Hello everyone:

We are headed to WDW early this December and have the DDP included in our package.

Several members of our Grand Gathering were wondering if they could substitute a salad for their appetizer.

Can this be done?

Yes, you can get either a soup or a salad if the restaurant offers soup or salad.

I don't think you're asking this, but you cannot get a soup and a salad for your appetizer. It's one or the other.

Thanks Tricia1972... You are correct, some of us would prefer a salad OR soup instead of an appetizer.

Yes, soups or appetizer sized salad can be ordered as an appetizer.

But not entree salads. Those would be..well, entrees.
