Hey everyone,

I'm not sure how many of you will remember, but my family and I were supposed to be cruising with you next week... However the announcement of our new baby threw an early wrench in those plans... Well I just wanted to drop you all a note to let you know our new baby boy was born last Tuesday (8/22). 8 pounds 15 ounces! Everyone is doing good... We still talk about missing the cruise, but we will have many years to cruise down the road (if the prices don't sky-rocket too much ). Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone happy cruising and I can't wait to hear all the stories when you return! Hopefully the weather stays nice, well as nice as it can be this time... None of the current storms are threatening the cruise are they??

DOn't worry, There will be plenty of seats in a few hours ..Lots of people panic and cancel trips to storm areas. You will get there...We spent 36 in the airport after Jeanne...at least you can wait at home.

Now, I am REALLY jealous. Everyone is starting vacation and I have Wednesday and Thursday at work. Which means, filing an answer, doing payroll, reviewing a bunch of documents, reminding my clients for the upteenth time that "no the cell phone does not work on the ship".

I have payroll for 400+ to get out today, have been working 11 hour days to take off Friday. Everytime some asks me a question, I bring up the cruise...

Just in case I don't make it on time for the 2:30 DIS meet, if anybody wants to let me know their room number (we're in 6136), I'd love to stop by and meet as many of you as possible right away! Plus, I'll definitely be at Brian & Shelley's party Sunday and can just meet you all there (those of you who are coming) if that sounds like a better idea to all.

I just can't wait!

By the way, I think Robin and I have taken over the board! Everybody else is already on vacation or too busy working these last days or frantically getting stuff ready for vacation!

BUMMER!!!!! For all you women out there, I just read on another thread that Travis is no longer doing bingo on the Magic. He's on the Wonder now! I know the CMs move around often and have their times off and stuff, so it's hard to have the same ones onboard for repeat cruisers, but I was REALLY hoping Travis would be there! He's such a cutie!

I won the big jackpot at bingo a couple of years ago. The rest of the cruise, people would call me 'Mr Bingo' when they passed me in the hall or on CC.

Wife won a small amount on the last cruise, so we're 2 for 2!

BTW, I don't mind having to work on Friday. The REAL problem is having to get up at 3AM on Saturday in order to get to the airport in Nashville!

3am? Uggghhh.....We don't have to get up until 6am because our airport is about 10 minutes away. Roll out of bed and head out the door! WOOHOO! Can't wait! Keep your fingers crossed that Tyler sleeps on the plane so he's not a grouchy monster if we make it to the DIS meet. Last time I spent a whole 10 minutes at the meet because he was having a meltdown (long day of travel). And that set the tone for our whole cruise, unfortunately. THIS TIME will be different because he's a year older and SO excited!
