2006?

I keep bumping this thread because I'm hoping to find some other 2006 planners. Are ya out there? Any planners for any later years...2007, 2008 what have you.

We are planning a two week trip for christmas 2005/6. We can't book yet though as we will be using DVC points so will book the beach club villas (home resort) one year out as you can not book sooner with DVC points. However we are planning a week in Disneyland Paris to keep us happy inbetween.

I plan to go away to WDW every year....I have next Jan 04 and next Oct 04 booked already and hope to have 2005 date at least in my mind by the middle of next year.

My DH moans I'm always planning but my way of thinking is ...its free and ...it saves us money ( AP discount / Entertainment card)

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: In a nutshell, each of the four parks will get a new attraction in 2004-2006. Disney-MGM Studios gets Stunt Show Spectacular (2005), an import from Disneyland Paris, which will be held in a 5000-seat amphitheatre. OMG-- I'm so glad there are others out there who are already thinking about 2006. I've had to totally stop talking about it so that DH won't hospitalize me. We plan to go in early December of 2006 and I can't wait for it to get closer.

Hi all! We are in our planning stage right now for October 2005 or January 2006...any opinions on which would be better? I knew there were others like me out there!! I can't wait to show my DH this thread tonight...he just smiles and shakes his head when he sees me on the computer. I can't tell you the hours of enjoyment I get out of these boards!! We are frequent visitors to DL as my parents live 30 minutes away but have not had a trip to WDW in 13 years!!! DS is 9 and DS's are 7 and 2 so we were waiting til the youngest was close to 4 to maximize the trip for everyone. That's why I love these boards. We might not be going for a while but I get to share in everyone elses enjoyment!! BTW, you all are going to love Soarin' Over California when it comes to Epcot!! It is the best!!

Now I don't feel quite so crazy, although my DH will disagree. We have several trips currently planned including a family reunion on the Magic in Dec '05 (that I was able to book this week, yippy!!) and another big family trip June '07 at the BCV. Unfortunately we can't book the '07 until 11 months out b/c we are using DVC.
I am totally an obsessive planner, but that is part of the fun.

DU can only accept requests on their website for dates up to Dec. '04. They will give you a quote for later than that if you put your real dates in the notes section of your reservation request. It is very important to understand that the rates are not released yet so they cannot guarantee you a rate. I am sure many travel agencies would shy away from making reservations on a trip where they cannot give you an accurate price

I am ALWAYS planning a Disney trip!! My husband thinks I am crazy also. May 2005 FDR in Jamica(we are going to try something other than Disney) but I can't go a whole year without Disney! November 2005 WL. April 2006 CR. I am soooo glad to see I am not the only crazy one.

DH & I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in Nov. 2006, and we've already started planning it, haven't booked it but the thoughts have been planted.

DS graduates from HS 2007, so we thought no, I thought we'd get the Deluxe Room @ WL, so we'd have more room, but the DH wants a standard room, either way we'll be at Disney AGAIN.

We were @ WL 5/03, now I'm having flash backs.

Can't decide if I want to book it in May or Nov 2006, because we went to Disney Nov. 2000 and it was sooooo....cold, and I only brought shorts to wear, see we live in Louisiana & it doesn't get 40 degrees in Nov., so haven't made the mind up yet.

But, booking the 2006 vacation and paying for it is like having that DISNEY fix. I know in the past that when I needed a disney fix (& the Disney Store was in our local mall), I'd go to the Disney store & soak up the atmosphere. so.........now, when to call ......


Thanks for that idea, I think I just might have to do that !!! Book our vacation and start paying for it, and adjust the cost later! Thanks !!

I'm sure all of us will be back someday again at WDW and we will all for sure be planning for the future trip. Well you can count me in on 2005...2006...2007...2008...2009...2010... So,
when and where do you want to meet? LOL. I'll be there this March and/or May too...And I will be there in July and from then on out...we're moving to Florida!! Ha h a ha ha...I'm so happy!!

Wow, someone whose clock is higher than mine, didn't think I'd see that!

I remember when I started my countdown clock (although I didn't know we were going on a cruise, just that we were going back in Oct. 05), the clock showed like 850 days or so. Now I'm almost under 600. Time has actually passes so quickly and visiting these boards make the time more fun.

Count us in for 2006! I don't know if we are going in March or June, though. Depends on the boys school schedule. I already have my list of ideas for the trip. I can't decide where to stay. We are a family of five. In 2006, the boys will be 3, 6 and 8. Anyone have any advice?

Count us in for 2006, too! I have DH talked into mid-January 2006 and I'm already thinking about the trip. I am actually hoping to talk him into October 2005 because I want to take DD to MNSSHP, but he is resisting that as 'too soon' after our Sept 2003 trip. What difference does 3 months make?

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of 2006, too, and I am yet another one already planning!!

Since you can book the Hoop Dee Doo up to 2 years in advance, I'll assume that you can book the room that far in advance as well.

I'm in for 2006 too!! We just got back from WDW last month. Next year it is DH's turn to pick the vacation spot, and he picked Yellowstone!
I want to stay at either the Beach Club or Yacht Club. Which would we like better? My DS's will be 14 & 11 (yikes).

I read someone's post that you can book for like 10 years in advance. I think if I called, the CM's would think I was nuts.

I'm saving for an awesome trip ONSITE for March 2008. I would love to call now but didn't want them to laugh at me. I LOVE Disney and since our trip last year, I've been so excited. That was an offsite trip with 10 other family members, which I will NEVER do again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

This time, we are planning to stay onsite, have a good budget down, my ING account rolling, my NEW mickey luggage, etc...

I'm very anal when it comes to things. I love to plan, plan, plan...

Well..... we are going this August for 3 weeks and have booked a private villa for 3 weeks in August 2005 plus I want to add 5-6 nights stay at AKL, I am waiting till we are at WDW this year to book the rooms for next year.......

....and we have booked the same villa again for 3 weeks in 2006 plus I want to book about a week on-site before the villa. I can't decide between 2 joining rooms at POP or a room at the WL???

I will book the 2006 room when we are in WDW August 2005.

....now that's what I call forward planning

We will also be traveling to WDW in 2006 for our 10 year anniversary!!! Haven't quite decided if we will stay at the WL or the BW.. I will know in a couple of days!!! Anyway, maybe we will get to say "hi" to each other then!!!
