Is there such a thing?

We were there in November and I didn't see any but my DH is headed back to WDW in March for a convention and if they exist I'm going to demand he find me one and bring it home - it's the least he can do considering he is going to the world without me, right?

He's staying at CSR so if there is such a thing would they carry it in the resort store or would I have to send him to World of Disney?

Oooh, great question. I would love one. I wonder if Disney Merchandising would know about this (1-407-363-6200). As you may know, they sell merchandise from the parks. I may just have to make a call today to see. :flower:

Yes there's a 2006 WDW calendar! It's hanging on my wall right now. I'm surprised you didn't see it on your November trip, the calendar started in the month of September 2005. We saw it in practically every shop. You should be able to get it at the CSR gift shop, or as disneyaggie suggested call the WDW merchandise number. I buy this calendar every year to help me make it 'till our next trip. ;)

Awesome! Does it have various pictures of the parks for each month, or is it a cartoon of each character? Details, I want details! :cool1: (Thanks!)

yes, it has pictures of the parks and characters each month. You want details, you've asked the right person. ;) I'll begin with Dec 2005 - beautiful pic of the castle at night w/ fireworks going off around it. Jan 2006 - the sorcerer's hat at MGM, Feb - Mickey & Minnie in safari attire in front w/ the AK tree in the background, Mar - scene from Lights, Motors, Action stunt show, Apr - Spaceship Earth illuminated at night, May - scene from POC, June - the front of Dinosaur attraction at AK, Jul - the front of Mission Space, Aug - another beautiful pic of the castle with fireworks, Sept - Mickey, Minnie, & Goofey in Toontown, Oct - Pic of the Haunted Mansion, Nov - scene from Soarin, Dec - pic of "the gang" in Christmas attire in front of a Christmas tree on Main Street. Man, I'm ready to go back! Hope this gives you a good idea. The calendar itself is blue with a picture of the castle and "the gang" on the front. I can usually find it near any register in the gift shops.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I had seen other people post that WDW 2006 calenders are all sold out. Becasue the calender got pulled for some reason( I think they said a date was wrong or something). I would try calling WDW and see if you can still get one and maybe order one.

That's interesting, but maybe that would explain how you missed them on your Nov trip. I bought mine in Oct 2005.Please let me know if you find out anything else - like an incorrect date, so I'll know if I need to correct it. Thanks. :flower:

I also have a 2006 WDW calendar. Yes, they were pulled in November, because the calendar listed July 15th as the opening of DL resort. Everyplace I went said that the calendars were due back around December 1. Sure enough, 12/1 I found them in BC Marketplace. When I got it home, the one I have still lists July 15th, 1955 as the opening of DL. So although I know that was the error, I don't know if it was ever really corrected.
