2006 package pricing on thursday!!

when i woke up this morning there was an e-mail waiting from my TA. she told me that she just found out package pricing for 2006 is supposed to be released this thursday!! i'm so excited to finally have a package booked!! just thought i'd share since so many people ask about this.

WOW ! That's great news. We're really excited about our upcoming trip 1/28 - 2/4/06 & have been anxiously awaiting the packages to come out ! Hopefully they'll have some good deals..

It's about time. I know that they don't release 2006 stuff until around this time, but they have had 2006, 2007 dates in the online system for a couple weeks with the same 2005 only reservations can be made message.

I was just searching the boards to find out this very bit of information!! Yeah!!! We're not going until 12/06, but I still can't wait to book!!

Are these "packages" for tickets/rooms or for rooms only?

With a package, it is usually the room and the tickets, but you can add the food option on to it.

Keep an eye open for new package offerings also. There are going to be some changes on the front for the new packages.

I just called also. The cm told me that they were told that today was the day. But when she tried to check a package for me, they are not in the system yet. She told me to keep checking disney.com. CRO and www.disney.com are linked and when they show up in disney.com, they will be available through CRO. It was her understanding though that packages wil be the same as 2005. Other package types may be released in the fall. She also told me that AAA room only rate discounts won't be available until Oct.

Doesnt really matter to me though since I prefer to book room only due to their easier cancellation policies, but I hope for others sakes they are released today.

I was just told that "hopefully they will be out later today" the very nice CM told me to try back in the afternoon...maybe by then the new rates will be downloaded to their system.

I just checked online and there was no new rates, just the same old messages saying that you can't book packages past Dec 31, 2005.
