2006 January Marathon?

Has anyone ever been there durning this event? Or has anyone participated are had someone there with them that ran. What I'm trying to do is get info on the best places to watch for the runners. My DD is runing this January and any advice would be wonderful, for me and her. Tina

You can watch them at the start of the race and then at the MK ,later at the finish line at Epcot. We couldn't watch any where else,I dont know about this year.

If I remember correctly, your DD will receive a marathon booklet a couple months before the race. It will have spectator info. It is hard to get around during the race with all the road closures. You may want to choose your spectating locations by monorail use. She'll run through the TTC, MK, near Poly and Epcot.

We were there Jan 2004, my dd's bday was the day of the race. We were staying at BW and were at the TTC and could see them GREAT! We left ASMo at 7:30 and made it to BWV with no problems, it was a GREAT week to be there,not many crowds at all. the hardest part was keeping the kids quiet when we returned in the afternoon, a lot of runners were sleeping.
