ok we are at a close in 2004 how many of us crazy people have 2006 Florida vacations planned, we go every other year and on off years we go elsewhere, so we are headed down on Dec 8th-friday, cruise on te 10th for 4 nights, then back to disney for 8 nights-our villa so who like me is not ashamed to admit the excitement and is going and planning for 2006

:cool1: :jumping4: :cool1:

I'm working on our extended family trip for July 8-15, 2006.

My son and I will be going with my youngest aunt and her two daughters, and one of my cousins and her three daughters. None of them have ever been to WDW.

I'm planning to book the MYW dining package for all of us. I have a list of restaurants I think everyone will enjoy (mostly character meals). I also want to try a dinner show and book an Illuminations Cruise.

I think the biggest problem will be trying to get us all into and out of MCO at the same time. My son and I are in NY; the others are all in South Carolina.

I'm actually more excited the 2006 trip, than I am about our April trip.

I will probably start planning my Oct. 2007 trip soon.... I'd love to be planning one much sooner than that, but after our first attempt with kids (ages 2 and 4 a few weeks ago) my DH has decided NOT to do it again until the older one is out of her terrified of everything phase (characters, indoor rides, etc...) and the younger one is out of diapers and a carseat.... so we're guesstimating Oct. 2007-they'll be 5 and 7..... I can't wait....... :Pinkbounc

I am working on ours too! We are planning on leaving Dec. 31, 2005 and staying until around Jan. 9, 2006. We will be there for both my birthday and my son's 5th birthday! I want to get one more trip in before I have to start worrying about whether or not to take him out of school for WDW trips.

i think it is amazing how excited i can get on decisions that are 2 years away, do i rent a car, drive to port then i can drive back to disney or take a shuttle, things like that i mean i made my decision on that already, in saving for the trip and the cruise comes all te excitment, i cannot wait, i am more excited about that then hawaii

Already booked our Dec 2006 cruise. Will have to wait to see if we do a week on land before the cruise... will depend on financial situation. But yes, we always start planning our next vacation either during our trip or right after we get home. We usually go every 18-24 months.

when are you going in Dec we cruise on the 10th

We've got our cruise deposit paid for Nov. 4, 2006. This will be our first cruise. We've done WDW about every 18 months and we've been waiting for our youngest to be potty trained and old enough to go into the kids' club. We're going with another family so we'll all have friends to play with. I am so excited about it but my DH can't understand how I can be planning a trip that's 2 years away.

I have my 2005 trip planned since july 2004, I will be going to Hawaii in 2006, have yet to decide what week!!!! :flower1:

Just priced out a Land and Sea for Mardi Gras of 2006. DS will be in school by then so not really sure how they'll be about taking him out. We may have to drop down to just a 4 night cruise.

Do you mean the school?
It's a private school and I think they are more lenient than our public schools are. Not sure though, because he is our first child. A lot of the public schools around here will count all work as unexcused so taking a child out without their permission or should I say their blessing would be hard to overcome. Hoping for the best, though.

We are going to Disney in November 2006 for two weeks. The week before Thanksgiving we will stay on Disney property and enjoy all the parks. Then I think we will spend two nights at Universal. (I have tickets from our last trip that we decided to use on a future trip) Then stay a week at a condo of some sort and do local stuff. I want to take the kids to dinner shows and Ripleys and relax Thanksgiving week.

Now when do they start taking reservations at Disney hotels for late 2006. I love to be able to pay a monthly fee each month to make the reservation affortable. Then when a code comes out I will apply it and hopefully save. I keep reminding myself that 2006 is not that far away.

we have been booked for the spring break 2006 cruise since dates opened...then we will stay the weekend at WDW....IMHO you gotta have a date and dream

I have just started planning a trip for 9 in April of 2006. It is our family of 5, and our friends family of 4. This is our first time traveling with other people so I am so excited!!!

I recently booked a land/sea for December 2005 and need to start sending out questionaires for our extended family (dad, sisters, BILs, grandkids, great-grandkids) vacation in August 2006.

The entire clan (except my DD who was having a teenaged hissy fit) went for Christmas of 1992 ... it was great fun and I'm hoping that we have as much or more fun next time!

i know from reading these boards there are more, don't be ashamed, post your 2006 trips

Dh and I had been planning to go to WDW this May (2005), but decided to have a baby that month instead. Lol, I am due May 1, 2005, so we have decided to put our trip on hold this year. We then thought we might like to go around May of 2006 when the baby is about a year old. We wanted to make sure that we would be able to take her on a lot of things first though. Well, after checking out this board as well as The Official Moms to Be Thread on the CB, we found out that there is plenty to do with a 1 year old. So as of today, I am very excited to start planning a May 2006 trip for DH, DD, and myself! Can't wait!!! :cheer2:
