When I booked it, John told me to call you and see if you could drive here and fly down from here. Hey, it's only a 5 hour drive Now that would have been one crazy trip, and you would have had to share the couch with Carol

Not sure how Carol would have felt about that, but I'm already experienced sleeping on THAT couch!

Did Carol have to sleep backwards too???

Gail - I don't have it counted down to hours just yet but I leave again on the 26th to go to San Diego to catch a non-Disney cruise ship on the 28th. With leaving a few days early, I'm hoping my luggage won't get left in Chicago this time!

I know several of you have met up there so I was hoping for some advice for my DD. She and a friend want to go up there late Oct. I thought the weather might be chilly to ride coasters. Any thoughts? Also, any motel recommendations? Thanks.

Karen, we all stayed at the Breakers Express. It was much nicer than I thought it would be and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I can't help with the weather as we have only been there twice. Once in July and the other time after Great Wolf Lodge when it was something like 20 degrees below zero.

Gail & Cheryl - So glad to hear you guys had a nice meet evan if it was chilly in RFC. I can't believe Diana was complaining about the heat! I have to call and yell at that girl. Since she left for Florida it has dropped about 15 degrees in temp here and it has rained the last coupls of days!

KarenNY - Erin would be the best perosn to answer your question about CP in October since her family usually goes for the Halloween parties so she can give yopu an idea about what they might have open that time of year.

The State of liquid sunshine has has 90 degree days and no rain so I am with Diana "It's Hot!"

I am glad everyone had a great weekend in Disney World! I can't wait to get back there.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes everyone. Sounds like everyone has had great vacations. I'm very jealous. Our next trip is coming up soon. I can't wait.

It is cold here today. Right now it is only 56 and tonight it is only going to be 40. That is way too cold. I guess it will be time to close the pool soon.

Thought I would post here what I found at Target last night - I was browsing thru their aisles at the new store around here and found a new Mickey Mouse scrapbook - I think it's from SandyLion. It's really cute and should be fun to use for Christopher's first trip to WDW in December. They also had some kits to decorate pages also. And in one of the end caps was a bunch of clearance scrapbooks for different occasions - not Disney. All of the books including the new Mickey one (new to me) are 8 x 8 size.

I do!!! We are going to be down there tomorrow, before our cruise, and then after the cruise next weekend, I would enjoy stopping in and looking, Yeah right, there will be some buying going on!

The store is called Mouse Memories. www.mousememories.com is their website. They are usually only open M-F, but they do open 1 Saturday a month. They have a map and directions to get there from WDW and the directions are very easy to follow.

Thanks...I'm sad to say, that I won't be able to make it there...They arent open either Saturday, and the only other day that we have available is Sunday. I wish I could talk them(kids and Tim) into letting me go there tomorrow, but they have the day planned already! But maybe in December or something! But I do see that you can shop online...Now I am not so sad!!! I will place an order when I get back!

Gail - I have talked with Mousememories at Mousefest last December - they sure do seem to have lots of nice Disney scrapbooking materials - not sure I should go there - I seem to go overboard (no pun intended) on purchasing Disney anything! But I will be looking at their site to see what they have added.

We have had another interesting weekend. DH broke his nose while white water rafting on Friday afternoon. Spent the evening in a small ER Friday night and has been looped up on Vicodin since then. Only 1 black eye and one laceration on the top of his nose from his glasses (which are in one piece). He is going to try to go to work today. We will see how long he lasts. I hope everyone else's weekend was a little less exciting.

OUCH! Hope it doesn't hurt too much - I'm sure the vicodin helps with that. He does realize that going back to work with a black eye and a broken nose he will take some ribbing from his co-workers about his wife having to keep him in line. They surely won't believe he did it while white water rafting I hope he's feeling better soon.
