Amy, so sorry for your loss. Very sad.

Not to change the subject in any way, but just to let everyone know that cruise reservations are now open on the 'net for those that were to book on the 23rd. I just got my Palo Brunch!

We got brunch and the our Castaway cay ressies at midnight

Just an fyi to everyone it seems that now online ressies for Palo etc are done from 9 PST to 12 midnight EST... no more getting up at the crack o dawn!

Well, we are back from SSR, and Oklahoma City...We had an excellent time, seen Jeff, his mom, and Casey a few times at SSR...Just kinda took it easy, went to the parks some, but swam and relaxed a lot.

I will do a quick catch up...

Just wanted to take a moment here to announce the birth of our new little princess, Allison Grace. She is the first grand child for Ken and me. She's a little girl, weighing in at 6 lbs even and she's 18 inches long. Allison and our daughter Rebecca are both doing fine.

Can't wait to take her on her first trip to WDW!

Tina - It was great seeing you around the resort. We went to the parks every day even though that wasn't the original plan. That was a mistake as it was just too hot. And what's with all these Brazilians (very rude, large groups)?

I had had enough of the Brazilians after the 1st day...they try to cut in line, act like they cant speak english...And most of all act like you are the problem...not them!

It was great seeing you also and meeting your Mom and Casey! ...We went to the parks some, I think there was a day or 2 we didnt go...but we ended up adding 2 more days on the trip. We stayed until Friday instead of Wednesday. Then we went to Oklahoma City...Nothing much there! We did visit the site of the OKC bombing, and the memorial was amazing and very touching. They really did a wonderful job planning. A very serene place, but beautiful legacy for the victims.

Yes we survived!!
Luckily the weather was good and sprinkled just a little one day and started to rain hard just after we had the cars all packed to leave on Saturday.
Nick completed 5 merit badges at camp and has 2 partials to complete (hopefully before school starts). So if the stars align up right for our first Court of Honors after school starts he should get his First class rank and 7 merit badges!
It was funny because it was the last day and he was at his Fishing MB session and still needed to catch at least one fish to earn the merit badge, well that was the only day I went to watch him ('cause he hates when I do that), well there was only like 5 minutes left before they had to go to there next session and doesn't he catch 2 fish! It was funny because it took a couple of minutes to catch the first fish and it was a little guy. Well they got him off the hook and back into the pond and the worm was still on the hook so Nick cast again and barely a minute later he is pulling up another fish that was about a foot long. Luckily I had my camera and got a few pics!!
