Deck 6 was the place to be b/c that's where I was!

I wanted my 2000th post to be the one celebrating my cruise being booked, so I'm going to have to be really quiet tonight!

As of about 4pm yesterday my move to Virginia is OFF. Bittersweet. On the bitter side, the location where I work is being cut back so I have about 36 months left at this location. SWEET side - Karen and I stay as a family unit (despite the threats of slipping me green vegtables - remind me to tell you about the 50's Prime Time Cafe incident.....)

Still in line for a promotion - will see how that turns out next week Thursday... Get those pixie dust wands ready ladies I am NOT above asking for all the help I can get.... Anyone seen Wicked? "Is this thing on?!?!"

Just wanted to drop in and wish you all luck in getting what you want tomorrow. I'll be on my way to the Narnia screening, then rehearsal, then an OSU hockey game, so I'll miss out on the posts. Is someone going to be doing some sort of chart/rundown once everyone gets booked?? I'd love to see a tally of who got what.

Amy, who is BNL? I can’t think of who they are, but I don’t listen to the radio much.

BNL is Barenaked Ladies. They are one of Chris's favorite bands. Anyway, they did the song for Chicken Little and when they are playing their little video on the Disney Channel, they use BNL for the band name (I'm sure to avoid the use of naked on the Disney Channel).

Oh, no, another police officer in the group. Everyone remind me when we get to the GTKYFKK (GEt To Know Your Fellow Krazy Kruiser) not to ask about the times you've been pulled over.

For those of you who don't know, I asked that on the SSMC05 thread only to find out that Sneaky3 (Michele) was a police office in Miami. I was highly when I found out. It was not intended as a slam at all, as I have the utmost respect for those who have jobs helping others.

But, now that I've mentioned it, does anyone have any "special" stories to share??

Oh, that's right, very strange odors on deck 5. Not a good deck at all!!

I think this happened on Deck 6 too. Bad, bad place to have a cabin.

Jeff - we've done aft for the last number of cruises and really like it.

Cheryl - thanks for putting up the link to chat. Friday night is cruise chat, Sunday night is DVC chat. I'm sure both of them this week will have a lot of people talking about SSMC06.

Cindy - yes deck 6 should be avoided at all costs. Especially the cat 7's - stay away from them - they are bad.

Does anyone have an extra fish extender they are willing to sell? What store would I buy them in?

I haven't read ahead, maybe someone answered already.

A fish extender can usually be purchased off of ebay. There is a seller, Mrs.Lips, who several of us have bought from. I checked, she doesn't have any listed right now, but if you send her a message through ebay, she may be able to accommodate you.

For those who are new, if you'd like to see what a fish extender looks like, here's a current ebay auction for one:

Several of us purchased them before the SSMC05. They are cute and we hung them outside our cabin doors.

Gosh, I knew there were a lot of us on deck 6 putting up with those awful smells. Jeff was there too -- as was Fireplug & ohiominnie.

Gosh, deck 6 is definately not the place to be.
