2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

I haven't gotten any notifications today from the DIS either.

I'm going for a cat 11.....I was thinking about trying to get a SPH if I get through right at 9, but maybe I'll leave it for Amy! Plus if we get a SPH we'll be about 3 points shy for our 3 nights at BCV for after the cruise.

Amy & Diana - the e-mail notification problem seems to by system wide. Saw a post on the tech board about it. The tech teams knows about it and is looking into it.

Laura - sorry to hear you won't be joining us.

Amy - what fun! I would definately do MVMCP. I love that! Though if we only had one night I think I'd rather see Lights of Winter at Epcot. Tough call!

No, I'll be around for chat. We're just going Sunday & Monday, coming home Monday afternoon/evening.

We are not going...... I kept wavering, and for us, it just doesnt seem worth it. Most of the extra DVC stuff DH and I couldnt really enjoy with the kids so small, plus I dont want to sweat potty training ds... so we are going with out original plan of a 7 day in late 2007. Kids will be older and that means more time for DH and I to be alone. THAT is priceless....

We are not going...... I kept wavering, and for us, it just doesnt seem worth it. Most of the extra DVC stuff DH and I couldnt really enjoy with the kids so small, plus I dont want to sweat potty training ds... so we are going with out original plan of a 7 day in late 2007. Kids will be older and that means more time for DH and I to be alone. THAT is priceless....

Sorry your family isn't going on the member cruise.The 7 day will be great with the kids. Yes,time alone witout the kids is priceless!! Come on over and chat any time.We can still talk.

Sorry you aren't going to join us, Laura. It was harder cruising with little ones than I had thought it would be. I'm just figuring mine are going to be another year older than this year, so it might be better for us!

So, DH just called a little bit ago and asked if I can find a babysitter tomorrow night. We only have 1 girl who watches my girls, and I tried and she's not available. Well, he is the United Way person for his area and because they met all their goals, the company and UW gave him 2 floor seats to the Aerosmith/Lenny Kravitz concert tomorrow night!! Since I couldn't get the sitter my friend and I are going to go it's her bday, and now I don't have to buy her a gift!! DH said he didn't mind not going, neither one of us are big fans, it's just when someone gives you $250 in concert tickets, how can you say no? Now I need to find an outfit to wear to the concert!

SPH is secret porthole room. The cat 10's (I believe) that actually have a window but it is blocked. So it is like getting a cat 8 at a cat 10 price.

I was actually surprised to see my kids "dead to the world"!! I believe the one from the meet was courtesy of Mark! Then there's the one at dinner of Julia with mac n cheese all over her face and her eyes are so heavy! I think her dining partner Gary took that one! I didn't get very far into them since there are so many, but Thanks for all the food pics Stacy!! I need those for my food scrapbook page!!

Ya know, ever since I started telling people about aerosmith, everyone says, oh, I would have watched the girls for you.....except my friend Jen. Julia HATES my friend Jen. So Jen was all to happy to say, I'll come with you if Bruce watches the girls! She's getting a great bday gift by coming with me!

I missed the audio clip, but I still haven't come close to seeing even half the pics! I did see that Mary and I have the same bathing suit! We should have gotten pics of that, but for some reason I didn't see you guys at CC.
