Just as a suggestion, if you are only using the cell phone - as soon as you get a CM give them your cell phone #. That way in case the call gets dropped, they can call you back.

Thanks for the suggestion. DH and I don't want to miss 2 college hockey games but this is a tough one. I really don't want to rely only on my cell phone for calling in that day. We'll see what happens! Annmarie

Annmarie., another hint... have the charger plugged in and use the headset...more comfey, and you wouldn't want to run out of juice...

:jumping2:

Good morning hopeful cruisers.

Call in day is 8 weeks away!

Looking forward to call in Saturday!

Good morning Mary and everyone else who visits this forum - I hope we can all get thru on the call in date!!!

Only 8 weeks??!! Somehow that makes it seem so much closer. I recorded the Disney Cruise Line show that was on the travel channel a few days ago and watched it yesterday. That only made me want to go even more!!!

has anyone taken a count to see what types of cabins. I would like one cat-10 for 2 people did people try in the past and not get through?
maria

Maria - the 2005 cruise sold out in 5 hours so yes there were people who didn't get in. Some made it in via the waitlist which is good.

We'll be trying for our usual cat 7 :) but will be happy just getting on the ship!

WDWLVR
so after it sells out you can ask to go on a waitlist? do you say a certain CAT # I will wait for that?WOW, amazing
maria

Yes if they are sold out you can ask to go on a waitlist. When we've called in we've always had a couple of categories in mind just in case our first choice is sold out.

I'm with Mary. I want a cat 6, but will not say no to any other category just to BE there!! :)

Well, not true. I'm not sure I'd say yes to a cat 1!!

More than likely the cat 1's won't be available. DVC has held them back for use for parties and such on the last two cruises, I don't expect that to change with this trip.

Tom said the same thing but then after thinking about it he added any category would do. As long as we can get on board!! Annmarie

I don't know why it's taken me so long to find this thread. Anyway, count DH and I in for this cruise. I'm looking forward to seeing all the DISers we met at Members Homecoming. We're hoping for a cat.#6 or 7.
Meg

WOW 4 days without a post on here! Guess that means interest is on the decline and we will have a better chance at a cabin......... :confused3

BUT I doubt it. We are off in the morning for a trip to The World :earboy2: . 5 days at BWV then 2 at VB and the 5 more at SSR. We have never been to the F&W so this will be a new experience for us! Hope this thread doesnt slip back to page 3 :earseek: while we are gone!

I'm sure after December this will be one hot thread :firefight

Go to WDW have a great time - don't eat or drink too much at the F&W :teeth:

You can count us in. Or should I say ME in? Since we are going on the 11 day in Sept. DH doesn't think another 4 day in October will fit into his schedule. Jamie (dd-13) thinks it needs to be a girls only trip with me, her and two of her friends. so, once the points/cash chart comes out we can talk to her friends parents.

My Dec. 3 is already busy. Got dress rehearsal for a musical Jamie is in and then we are hoping to fly out Sat. early afternoon to do a Dis meet with our PC friends for the candlelight processional at DL that night. The good thing is we are on Mountain Standard Time and it shouldn't mess me up too bad!

It took me 2 hours with two different cell phones last time to get through. Got a category 6. This time I think we will go without the verandah since I only had time to go out on it once or twice.

I've been busy doing scrapbook expos and stuff since I got home. I already have an idea for the next scrapbook class if anyone is up for it. Maybe we could do it at 7 in the morning and then we wouldn't conflict with anything!

Okay, back to work. I'll keep checking back!

Define "too much" in relation to eating and drinking on a cruise :earboy2:

Good morning hopeful cruisers.

Call in day is 7 weeks away!

Cool that means when we get home from WDW we will only have 5 weeks to go! See you all then!
