2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

Madison will probably be in Flounders too on the next member cruise. She'll be 2 1/2, so she'll fit right in.

It's a bit hard to see, but is that my kid????????????????????? Embarkation day...Mickey pool....my kids favorite time to catch the pool!

Karen, I know we were there at the same time. I remember seeing you and your kids in the pool. But look at this......

I see my kids, if I zoom in, I see you, but where are your kids??

I'm thinking Mark & Mary either were there before us or just after we left.

That is just so odd to me.

Me thinks he will be liking the girl to boy ratio... 2 plder women so far... He is a huge flirt too. Maybe we can all get Dinner seatings together!!! (provided you don't mind our Dragons...they still go on all of our trips and dis-meets and the parks with us...)

Karen and her group weren't in thier seats yet so I'm thinking they were getting lunch. Ours was taken from the reverse angle than yours. Did you take yours after you ate or did the kids go right in the water? BTW sending you a pm about tomorrow.

I don't think the kids ate anything and headed right to the pool. I have a picture later showing them eating some chicken fingers (which, btw, are AWESOME and I can taste them right now ). Your right, we were behind you in the line getting onto the ship.

If you were to zoom in on the picture, you'd see I was sitting 2 tables away from Karen and her family, so I didn't take either of the pictures.

The arcade! I didn't think of that. Mystery solved!

Cameron actually one went to the arcade once. I bought him a card and he didn't use it all up before I retrieved him. The next time he wanted to go there, we realized he left his arcade card behind after his first visit.

All the more reason he won't have charging priviledges next cruise.

You were absolutely right. They were the best. I don't know what I was thinking but at the MK after the cruise, Walker had chicken fingers and silly me thought they were the same as the cruise. I won't make that mistake again.

Actually, what's been on my mind a lot lately has been the food from the cruise. Usually I don't have dinners going through my mind and maybe it's because we haven't really gone out to dinner since we got back, but it's like I'm obsessed with what we ate. I keep thinking and thinking about what we ate, what we are going to eat next cruise, what we'll eat differently. OMG, I think I'm addicted!!

You know, three week from pretty much RIGHT NOW we will be picking up our rental car at MCO airport. I just HOPE I can enjoy myself and stop obsessing about Dec. 3rd.....

It sounds like you all had such a GREAT TIME. I remember a few years ago when we took one on GROUNDHOG DAY, Meeting MARKRG and WDWLOVER, and KIM (as I rember her name-from the timeshare store) on deck for the sail away party. The whole cruise was awsome. I also rememberred the tour of the ship with Tom A (I forget his last name) who was an Imagineer in charge. My DW sat next to Jim Korkis while I was on the Panel in Who wants to be a DVC Mouskateer. We, and our Dragons got to know him really well.

I have to introduce Ian to Jim Lewis, Jim Korkis, and all of the other special friends we met (including the Dis-DVC-Cruiser-Crew(tm) ) OK, I am getting Homesick..... Where was I... Oh, yes... Concentrate on Ian's First Haircut, Introduce him to our Guide. Try and figure if we can meet any other Disers between Oct 22-30th. I guess I should also clean up the drool on my table (think Pavlov, does that ring a bell?)

Wonder how long DVC will keep us in suspense on the date and any additional information. Don't they know we need to know.

Hey Nancy - I would imagine that the 12/3 call-in date is pretty reliable. DVC sent us a review of the member cruise and it gave the 12/3 call-in date.

Thanks Amy. I sure hope it stays 12/3 as I am home that day. If it moves to any other Sat date in Dec it will be more difficult for me to call.

I am going on this cruise.
I just have to find a cruise buddy.
My DH cant go as it is a bad time of year and we have a 7 day on Freedom of the Seas for our anniversary planned in Sept.
But I WILL be crusing.
Unfortunatley, I hardly ever ran into any DISer's.

ask darla, she was looking for a cruise buddy too. she wasn't totally positive she could make this one, but if she knew she had a fellow cruiser that she already knows, maybe that will help!

Okay! I just checked the hockey schedule for DS and he has a game in Philly on Friday night, Dec. 2 and another one on Sunday, Dec. 4! This means we would be heading to Philly on Friday and will only have our cell phone to call in on December 3. That could be a problem for us! Annmarie

Just as a suggestion, if you are only using the cell phone - as soon as you get a CM give them your cell phone #. That way in case the call gets dropped, they can call you back.
