I don't know if any of you have been following the NYC plane crash, but they just said it was NY Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle piloting the plane. It's like Thurmon Munson all over again. (And yes, I realize I'm dating myself!)

I heard that about an hour ago...its too sad!

I sent the guy a message through ebay. Said "these are rain ponchos? they look like the tv guide listing that sits on top of the TV cart at WDW resorts"

his answer was..."no, they are not rain ponchos."

uh...duh....that's what you SAID they were in the last answer you gave.

I think we should all innundate him with questions! HA HA HA

Karen caught & commented on the quote from your sig. I take it the play made an impression on you too?

Karen and her sister Cathy saw it on a "girls only" trip to Chicago. Now Cathy is Pinkie and Karen is Greenie in all of their emails back and forth. It IS a good show.

News I heard was not good...Him and another on board didnt make it...along with 2 in the building

I'm think I'm gonna ask him for a pic of said poncho, what color are they, so they say DVC on the back?

The pic is clearly of the "tent" that is on the tables.

I'm watching the news and they're saying that Lidle's wife and son are on a commercial flight and may not even know about it yet.

I didnt hear that...very sad...hopefully they dont watch any tv in the airport getting off their flight

Our gain! (Sorry, Cameron! I'll take good of him - I promise!)

Oh Yeah, Cameron's still in mourning about that. Cameron's bedroom is all White Sox and I just snapped a picture of the poster he has no desire to remove.

Did you see what this person is charging for shipping? My goodness, that should include delivery via the Concord!

Usually I dont buy if they are charging enough to ship me the statue of liberty...I cant stand when people make a profit off of shipping

What the heck is a DVC Channel Guide? His picture shows ponchos. Are those the channel guides that sit on the TV in the resort rooms?

HUH? What picture are you looking at? The picture I see shows the channel listing guide that sits on the TV's. You know, the one that tells you the weather channel is on 34.

Not a problem...I'm not a Sox fan...I'm a Cubs fan...so I will be waiting a long time for them to make it anywhere!

What was scary is that 2 hours had passed before they had any info at all. They said a few minutes ago they found his passport on the street and that he was the only person on the plane.

Very sad.

I'm skipping over a lot of posts, but I had to answer this. DO NOT PACK IT IN YOUR BAG! A stronger x-ray is used on checked luggage and you can guarantee that your film will be ruined. If it is 400 speed or less, it should be okay through the security checkpoint. If it is higher than 400, have it hand checked.

Thanks - I will unpack them and have them look at the cameras then. They are the underwater cameras and they are 800 iso

Curt - Absolutely LOVED it. What was great was the audience was so in to it. I've been to a lot of broadway shows, but this was more like a concert atmosphere. And we had such great seats - row N dead center. That line was one of many great lines in the show. Some other great lines were when Elphaba says "There's no place like home" and then to Glinda "Well, we can't all come and go by bubble"

Fine, broadcast that a plane hit and that ppl died....but do not announce who they are until the immediate family is informed. I had this same thought ....of them stepping off their plane and seeing the TV's at the gates.

Has the media lost ALL sense of decency????
