Gail your pages look great! I hope you join in the circle journal after this cruise!

Thanks!
Now remember, I didn't have to be creative at all on these pages. Everything was supplied even the sample sheet. I did alter some of the pages a bit. I will admit it was alot of fun. We'll see about doing the circle journal, but I'm sure after seeing all of the CJ's at the meet it might just give me the added incentative to want to do it.

Gail,
Your pages are terrific! I would love to do something like that here. Do you mind if I ask how much a class like that costs? Do they supply everything or did you have to bring your own stuff?
I reorganized my craft studio yesterday (it really only needed a little putting away of things) and I made a drawer in my desk for scrapbook materials. I know y'all are laughing...how can I ever keep it to one drawer! I'm gonna try though and since it all seems to cost so much that will be the deterent, LOL. I have already collected a few sissors from other projects I've done, had glue sticks and glue too. So it's just paper and stickers that go in that drawer. I DO however have the one plastic envelope that is NOT in the drawer that holds the 12" papers. The drawer is too small.

Well, like others here it's off to work for me today....which means mega catch up tonight...and Gilmore Girls! Have a good one everyone!

Ilene, not to get you hooked more, but Walmart/Target sells in the rubbermaid container aisle a set of 3 drawers that fit 12x12 paper in it. So if you find that you outgrow your plastic envelope, hit Walmart!

You mean those little paper flowers that come in the milk bottles? Where the ribbon meets the paper? If yes, that would look really cute.

That's what I was thinking of. The person that did the book just left the ribbons plain and stuck on the page. I just thought it needed something so I remembered you guys talking about the flowers and thought it might work.

Well, I have to work tomorrow so I guess I will be reading 20+ pages tomorrow night. Try to keep it to only 20 pages. Takes me all night to catch up when I have to actually leave the house to work.

Night guys!

Ditto Gail! You've done a great job! I'm leaving in a few for work too so try and not be so :chat: today! :rotfl2:

Gail that sounds like the album i picked up to use with the next circle journal. I think that is a great price for not only the album but the other supplies and the class.

The album is really cute. The Mickey face outline is in black on the black album - very sharp.

You've already bought your album for the next CJ, wow, you really do stay 1 step ahead!

Ah, still letting that little thing called work get in your way of DISing? ;)

OK, I'm back into the swing of things today and have a busy day ahead. Preschool at 9 then I have to be home for 9:30 because we have a speech therapist coming over to evaluate Julia. Our county does free home evaluations for two year olds if the parent think they may have a problem. Julia talks alot but not with the clarity that Emma did. Emma was speaking full sentences by 2 and said over 100 words, she never did the baby talk thing, and would just repeat any word you said. Julia was born tongue tied and we opted to not get her snipped because the doc said that it wasn't that bad and she'd do fine letting it stretch naturally, which it did--but she she still wasn't able to stick out her tongue until she was 18 months old, so that probably has something to do with it.

I know, I know, you aren't supposed to compare kids that way--but once I get her checked out, I'll know I've done everything I can, and get her some help if she needs it to fine tune her sounds. I know plenty of kids Emma's age that say less than Julia does, I just want to be certain.

Oh the drama!!! Is it time to leave yet??? 10 more days for us!!!

If I get my head on straight by this afternoon, I'll just throw some in the mail to you. I only have about 19 zillion, so I can part with a couple! ;)

I was up at 4 AM, drove to the airport, picked up my dd Dawn and was home by 6:30. Got Deanna up and as soon as I can get her out the door and to the bus stop I'm going to crash on the couch. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't wait until 12:30 to go to bed last night.

Saw it at Archievers and I had a coupon so I thought better to get it now. With my luck I'd go back after the cruise and they wouldn't have it any more.

Me either!

I really thought it was weird that the costume smells like gasoline but reading here, it doesn't seem all that uncommon. Very strange. :scared:

You guys are out of control. You already have your album for the CJ for a cruise that hasn't even happened yet!

You and Mary picking the same album - glad to see GMTA! It's nice to know that the album from the class wasn't some old stock they were trying to get rid of. I was surprised it was as nice as it is, being it was part of the class supplies.

Thanks, now that I know what they are used for it makes sense. I was looking at the different ones at the store last night - I can see how easy it was for you to acquire so many.

That's the kind of luck I have.

I wish we had an Archievers around here. We do have alot of Scrapbook stores, Michaels and JoAnn's but I've heard alot of people talk about Archievers.

Did you ever find out what the smell was and why it seems to be on all these costumes? That is strange!

Gail,

The album is really cute. How many years have I been telling you how much fun scrapbooking can be!!! Now get those pictures off the computer and into your album. You will love it. Oh, don't tell John how much more mad money you will need when you get totally bitten by the scrapbooking bug!

Off to work.

I think $36 is a good deal especially since it included the album. I love that paper and I haven't seen it before.

The paper looks a lot like what I received last year when we did the scrapbook exchange. IIRC, Mary helped me to pick her bag of stuff, and in there was a slab of all Disney paper. :cool1:

Diana, is Gail referring to Prima flowers? Gail, Diana sent me a bunch and then I bought a bottle of the black, gray & white ones. If you need some, let me know and I'll send them your way.

I see Diana offered as well. Leave it to Diana, to get us sucked into something we didn't even know about. ;)

Diana, I'm really glad to hear your having Julia evaluated. Even if it turns out she doesn't need any services, it's a huge step to be able to make that call. Many, many parents wouldn't even do that -- for fear of finding out their child isn't perfect. All children are perfect, just is many different ways, as I know Julia is too. I've seen it a lot where parents just don't want to face what might be ahead of them. It's great that you are being realistic.

Now, what does it mean to be tongue tied? When Walker was born, he had to had his tongue snipped. The little thing underneath his tongue came all the way out to the tip of the tongue. Is that the same thing? The doctor was able to clip it, no problem in the office and with what seemed like very little pain to Walker at the time. We were told that it could cause problem later in life and the surgery then would be much more to go through.

Gail, your pages look awesome!! I can't believe the pages weren't pre-cut and there were 20 of them for 4 hours! :faint:

So tell me what do you do with the crystal lacquer stuff and where do you put it? :confused3

Someone want a ten foot pole to borrow?
