I forgot to tell you all what I'm doing tonight. I'm sure it will come as a big surprise to some of you. I signed up for a scrapbook class. :woohoo: We are doing a 20 page 8x8 DISNEY album. :woohoo: How cool is that? (Wow Mary, I haven't used your phrase in a long time :) )The class is from 6 -10, hopefully I will get it all done.

Off to take the kids to catechism - it's my week to drive for the carpool. Keep the posts to under 500!
Have fun at the class, Gail. Be sure to share if you learn anything new and interesting!

My, are you in rare form today. The "shy" one in the group. ;)

When I know your personal challenge was for 2800 posts, I didn't think it was to be met today. :rotfl:

Wow, I'm gone for the day and I had like 15 pages to catch up on!!

Thanks to everyone for all the thoughts, prayers, pixiedust: and :grouphug: . We do appreciate them so much. Bruce took Penny a little while ago. I'm really not sure what Emma understands, she had tears in her eyes when we said say goodbye and she wasn't coming back, but I was crying too, so who knows. I'm sure she'll ask for Penny a million times. I have some cleaning to do, get rid of the beds and bowls and toys. I just need it all gone right now.

I'm sure Emma understands in her own little way. I can understand the need for getting rid of the toys, bowls etc... pixiedust:

20 pages in 4 hours ???????????? :hourglass You are a machine if that happens :artist:

Be careful Gail its a slippery slope you are on. Once you start its like an ADDICTION :smokin:

Squid :firefight

Squid

I bet if it's 20 pages in 4 hours, all the stuff is precut for them and they only have to paste.

And I do agree---once you start, there's no stopping, so welcome to the wonderful world of scrapaholics!

I can understand how hard this is. I had to make the decision for my winnie. She had a blockage that the 1st vet we went to missed and by the time we saw the 2nd one she wouldn't have lived a normal life. So I let her go during her surgery. It is the hardest decision i have every made. If I can make a suggestion if you have other pets keep something with her smell on it around otherwise they will keep looking for her.

Give your family this :grouphug:

Gail - Did you pre-prin the Cruise info on the frame first?

The "Disney Southern Caribbean Cruise September 2006" is all stickers. I put them on at home before we left for the cruise.

Okay, it is official! I took out one suitcase out of the closet. I figure I will pack 2-3 and then take out some clothes for a carry on (in case something happens to the luggage we have a undies, swim suits and pj's). I want to leave A LOT of room for any "gifts" we might receive.

Did you make those cupcakes??? They look incredible!!!...Emily looks so happy...I'm glad that eveything turned out beautiful for her party!
Oh no, I didn't make those, I don't have that kind of talent!! I actually ordered them from Publix and then bought the cupcake "tree" from Michael's with a 40% off coupon. I figure that I can use it for all kinds of occasions and it holds 23 cupcakes.

Gail,

Where are you doing this class?

The class is being held at a scrapbook store near my house, but I found it listed in the Community Education paper that our school district sends out each Fall and Spring. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Awww...is she feeling any better!!...That tinkerbell dress is adorable!
Thanks Tina! She's feeling a tad better and at least her fever isn't as high as it was last night (103). Today it's hovering around 99-100. She still has that barking cough, but it's getting better. Thanks for asking!!

Oh, and my mom made her the Tinkerbell dress. Madison is fascinated by Tink!

That's my way of scrapbooking - everything precut and ready to be put together. That I can handle! Hey, at least it will be an album I actually finish :rotfl:

Hey everyone - we have survived!! Emily had a great party and the little girls seemed to have a lot of fun. And, my mom as the Fairy Godmother worked out fantastically. Here's a couple of pictures.

Ditto... I am always looking for ideas.....

I have a confession - I am a scraplifter.... Only if I could get those ideas into their own books... :guilty:

I breezed out of chat last night like wildfire. Gary received a call from the 1st grade soccer commissioner that there was a brawl during Walker's teams game yesterday and the other players left the field bruised & bloody.

...

We spent the day by Gary's sisters house. Cameron's choice. It was a beautiful day -- probably the last we are going to have this season. The kids love going there. She has a couple of horses they like to clean up after  :crazy2: . They actually fight to get to muck out the stalls --- I'm wondering who's children are these? We went to a tractor show in their little town which is a big deal to their little town. My SIL said, look at this, people sitting outside in front of the shops, this is what people do in small towns. I just can't imagine. We went to a little diner restaurant and then back to their house where Cameron did some target shooting in their backyard.
Wow, a 1st grade brawl. Cindy, it's good to hear y'all weren't involved and having a great day elsewhere.

Boy, you are observant!! She actually fell asleep on the family room floor about 1/2 hour before the party. They party was actually scheduled right in the middle of her nap, but we thought that she would make it, since there would be so much activity around. But, I guess that was the beginning of her not feeling well, since that cough crept up after we put her to bed for the night.
I'd been wondering where she was too. Poor little thing, not feeling well and missing the party. pixiedust: I hope she's feeling better soon.
