Okay, it is official! I took out one suitcase out of the closet. I figure I will pack 2-3 and then take out some clothes for a carry on (in case something happens to the luggage we have a undies, swim suits and pj's). I want to leave A LOT of room for any "gifts" we might receive.

I'll probably start that soon too, now that the party is over. I can't pack clothes yet, but I can start packing everything else and figuring out what I don't have and need to go shopping for in the next week or so. I can start packing some of our dress clothes, pirate outfits and Halloween costumes too.

This is the title of a thread on the regular cruise board. I so wanted to ask why??? Shouldnt that type of stuff be done in your own stateroom

Has anyone in this group arranged for a picture of our disboards group for pirate night in the atrium?

If not, I'm willing to arrange and to get a Disney Character in Pirate attire in the Atrium with us for the picture.

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. It's a sad day, but I've known it's been coming for a while. Now to make all you guys sad too--here's a pic of Penny I took yesterday, I tried taking some with her and the girls but not one of them would cooperate!

Diana, I've been thinking about y'all all day today. Never having gone through something like this, I can only imagine the emotions you're experiencing. That's a beautiful picture of Penny. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hey scrapbookers,
Here is what I wound up doing with the paint can handle. I took straws, I wanted red ones but could only find striped ones for now. So I used red, yellow and blue striped straws, cut them to about 3/4 inch and split them up the side so they could "wrap" around the handle. In between each straw I put curled ribbon, alternating between red, yellow and white. It looks pretty good I think but would look better with all red straws.

Another beautiful, if chilly day here today! Have a good one everyone.

P.S. sure hope Madison is feeling better Amy. I hate the temp spike that goes with croup. Three days and she'll be better, then it will just be sniffles most likely.

Ooooh, that sounds so cute. Can't wait to see a pic of this project.

Oh no, I didn't make those, I don't have that kind of talent!! I actually ordered them from Publix and then bought the cupcake "tree" from Michael's with a 40% off coupon. I figure that I can use it for all kinds of occasions and it holds 23 cupcakes.

Hmmm something ELSE to talk to the son-in-law about.

Has Coleen told you I like Creme Brulee

Creme Brulee was a major part of conversation before the last cruise.
I believe we were supposed to have a Creme Brulee eating contest last time around but sadly it never happened.

And, you'll all be surprised to know that it "cooled" down here in central FL. The high today is only in the low to mid 80s and it's actually cooler outside than it is in my house right now (I keep my house at 78 during the summer - costs too much to be any lower with the AC bill). And, the humidity is down, so hopefully it will be pretty similar in 2 weeks.

I like the lower humidity part! The temps seem to be about what it is here, which is very pleasant.
