Yeah, that's it. (Or maybe it was just the computer glitch with the alarm company.)

Good Morning everyone. I have the day off so I'll be checking in often today. Looks like DH is going to be needing a job so if anyone knows of an opening for a manager or something for someone with 25yrs. running his own business please let me know (sorry if I sound a little desperate...I AM).

:grouphug:Diana:grouphug: my thoughts are with you today :sad1:

Hey everyone - we have survived!! Emily had a great party and the little girls seemed to have a lot of fun. And, my mom as the Fairy Godmother worked out fantastically. Here's a couple of pictures.

Where is Madison?

Hey guys - chat was fun tonight and I'm sorry that I never came back. I left to go give Madison some cough medicine and found that she was also running a 103 degree fever. We tried to give her some medicine, but it backfired and she got sick. YUCK!!! Anyway, so we had to clean up, give her a bath and try to get her back to sleep (which she's now doing in our bed with Chris).

Curt - I saw that you were trying to ask a question about parking fees and I sent you a PM.

Poor Madison. Hope she is feeling better today. It is no fun being sick or having little ones sick but better now than on cruise day!

Congratulations, Cheryl, 2500 posts!! :thumbsup2

Amy, I hope Madision is feeling better today. Better now than in two weeks.

Diana, I know it's going to be a long day for you. I think it's the right decision for Penny and feel some people could be as lucky. I'll be thinking of all of you. pixiedust:

I breezed out of chat last night like wildfire. Gary received a call from the 1st grade soccer commissioner that there was a brawl during Walker's teams game yesterday and the other players left the field bruised & bloody. So, Gary immediately called the assistant coach as Gary wasn't there --- to hear another side of the story. The other coach is saying it was our players. The Assistant Coach is saying it was their players and parents. In the end, we still don't know what happened. Two things I'm thankful for -- that Gary doesn't have to figure out the "true" story and we missed the game. :) We already have enough headaches, so someone was looking out for us. Besides, I wouldn't want Walker to experience that type of unsportsmanlike behavior.

We spent the day by Gary's sisters house. Cameron's choice. It was a beautiful day -- probably the last we are going to have this season. The kids love going there. She has a couple of horses they like to clean up after  :crazy2: . They actually fight to get to muck out the stalls --- I'm wondering who's children are these? We went to a tractor show in their little town which is a big deal to their little town. My SIL said, look at this, people sitting outside in front of the shops, this is what people do in small towns. I just can't imagine. We went to a little diner restaurant and then back to their house where Cameron did some target shooting in their backyard.

Thanks again for the birthday wishes --- Curt, I'm thinking Cameron's good without his own DIS id. As that's the first time I could ever get him to post, I'm thinking he'd forget it before he used it again. ;)

Happy Monday, everyone!

Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 13 days!

12 days until the pre-cruise DIS meet in the Solarium at Beach Club!

party:

Remember you can get a copy of the navigator on the web site!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Not sure if you want to eat breakfast or lunch at Triton's or up at Beach Blanket? Here's a tip. They post the menu for Triton's near the back entrance (the hallway right near the Promonade lounge). Stop by there and see if there is something on the menu you'd love. If not head on up to the buffet.

Dinner menu's are also posted outside of each resturant later in the day. So if you are the type to plan ahead you can.

Diana - you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers today. I know it will be a hard one for you all. Hopefully the happy memories of times with Penny will help ease the pain.

Cindy - sounds like you had a great day yesterday.

Sorry to hear about the problems at the soccer meet, good thing you guys weren't there.

Boy, you are observant!! She actually fell asleep on the family room floor about 1/2 hour before the party. They party was actually scheduled right in the middle of her nap, but we thought that she would make it, since there would be so much activity around. But, I guess that was the beginning of her not feeling well, since that cough crept up after we put her to bed for the night.

Wow, I'm glad that you guys weren't at the game. I just can't imagine little kids doing that sort of thing.

I'm glad to hear that Cameron had a good birthday weekend!! Emily did too, so all is well.

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. It's a sad day, but I've known it's been coming for a while. Now to make all you guys sad too--here's a pic of Penny I took yesterday, I tried taking some with her and the girls but not one of them would cooperate! :confused3

Oh gosh - I don't know why, since I've never met Penny, but that picture just brought tears to my eyes!!! Prayers and pixie dust for the whole family as you deal with your pain.

While its still moring I'll post this before everyone has to run out.

For those of you who were not in chat a clue was given that I'll share again today. This screen cap is a from a PG rated film. Later today I'll post the guesses that have already been posted.
